One on Pickford Lane is great. Get two chicken burgers, chips, a drink and 3 wings for about £53

If you get the chance watch Panorama that was broadcast on Monday 17th, it will be on BBC catch up. People on there that worked for Amazon saying they switched Alexa off if they wanted to discuss private things. Also take a look at the data Amazon are collecting on their clients.3

Ebay adverts with a bloody great Union Jack on claiming to be in the UK, and they are not. They are in China.

Data rules in this modern world. My view is you kinda accept it, as long as you have nothing to hide, or you go and live off grid in a Yurt. If a company wants your data enough they will get it if you have some kind of online presence. in which case you might as well suck it up and take the benefit of the products they're offering.

After much research Professor Derek Heim believes there is now evidence to support the existence of beer goggles after a couple of drinks. Really?

Road closures with no diversion.
Last night had to go to Gatwick Airport. Junction 7 of the M25 closed Southbound. No advice as what to do.
The flight was delayed anyway and I had to try and find an alternative route to Gatwick. I don't have a sat nav and could not stop to get a map out. I am fortunate enough to know that the A23 would get me there leaving me with the problem of how the hell to find the A 23. Just to make it more difficult they decided to close the M25 between junctions 8 and 9 too!
I ended up taking the M23 North, the rationale being that eventually it would take me to Croydon if the worst came to the worst and I could link up with the A 23 there. I eventually found a petrol station and thought I'd ask on the off chance someone would know a better way to the A 23. Luckily the bloke in there knew his way about and told me to turn round follow the signs to Redhill which I knew was on the A 23. This was in Coulsdon. I arrived at Gatwick probably 15 minutes later than I would anyway with all the average speed cameras.
I was lucky to have a modicum of local knowledge. Another satnavless person with no local knowledge would have really struggled. No accountability of course. Faceless bureaucrats just give travellers grief on a whim.3 -
People without sat navs, why?
Sat navs are a driving necessity.
Not a dig Len, I just don’t get it?

I do occasionally borrow my daughter's if driving to somewhere I don't know but she sets it up and I just listen.
I know where Gatwick Airport is and where I live so didn't need it as I thought.0 -

Got an awful cold. Started as a piercing earache for two days, and yesterday everything just decided to fall out my nose. Woke up with my moustache so snot encrusted it looked like I was playing a harmonica no handed. To top it all off, I make an extra spicy curry so that I had a chance to taste it, and my aris is going like the whistle on a kettle8
