Mid 1990s away kits did tend to become very gaudy, and with fewer template designs back then, designers did go a bit OTT. None of our kits were amongst the worst, but a few of them were rather LOUD. What was the obsession with green and purple that Quaser had?

Their goalkeeper shirts were different too...one is an acid trip, the other is in invisible grey (but with the badge on a green background that isn't even centred properly!)

Never been that bothered by goalkeepers kits being horrible, we didn't have terrible kits, but some of the green and white things Quaser produced haven't aged well

England’s red euro96 GK kit that looked like a printer malfunction

The red version of this one?

    and a closer view...

Paul Gascoignes Euro 96 gem against Scotland is my favourite

Coventry City’s brown kit - quite simply horrific

Ian Wallace - when I were a lad Dumbarton produced a jewel like him every year.  Its now 27 years since we produced a home grown talent 😥
Thats why I love the Academy players Charlton produce
  • This was pretty bad

He looks quite small - it’s either you or Son (not your Son, Tottenham’s one)
  • And, why?

Was posted on the previous page, it's a different design. I actually liked the yellow one.

check that bad boy out !that would put off any penalty takers
At a Q&A Rob Elliot told my son that he liked to wear bright colours because there was research that when somebody shoots without time to think, they shoot at bright colours. Or something like that.

    So many questions.

When did Johnny Jackson (second left, back row) sign for that team?  Is Gareth Southgate (front row, far left) getting over-friendly with the team-mate on his left? Why have the two players in the front row on the right only got one arm each?  And finally, what on earth is the goalkeeper doing to the player bent over in front of him?

My mates company make footy kits, they're pretty fun designs that could be classified as bad kits, but they're intentionally like it.

A lot of them are used in the Sussex/Surrey area by grass roots sides and a few by semi pro clubs.
    The Bournemouth one is ok

I thought the away kit that season was worse. The home one weirdly grew on me but the away was and still is atrocious
