Puts into perspective what a great result our win away at mighty Hull was.

A comfortable win and a clean sheet. More than Boro could manage.

We get seven points from three games yet are still only three points above the relegation zone!!

    Five (plus nine goals)
  • Shows how laughable the suggestion of finishing the season on PPG was.

4 different teams have been in the relegation zone since the restart.

Charlton, Hull, Huddersfield and now Stoke.

We can't rely on anyone now... Its completely nuts... I still think Hull and Boro will struggle and Stoke must have been complete pony if they lost to boro.

Stoke have 43-pts we've got 46-pts so four if you inc. Goal Difference

Now Stoke are in the bottom 3, they play Barnsley on Saturday. What the hell do we want, a draw or a Barnsley win?

    Terrible result and utterly predictable.

Great result for Hull. Terrible result for Boro though, it will be interesting if that dampens any "Colin bounce" they may have had

Pretty unfair for Boro that they play QPR on Sunday, when QPR played on Tuesday and thus have had 2 extra days rest

I wouldn't want to be in the Middlesbrough dressing room right now.

They'll be a storm of tea cups shattering against the wall, as an apoplectic Mr Warnock vents his spleen.

And Wigan effectively have 38 points.

We just need to worry about ourselves! We are better than these teams around us, I truly believe that! Hulls run in horrific, as is Stokes! Think how luton and Barnsley feel let alone us!.... this isn’t even taking into account the desperately unfortunate Wigan!

I am guessing a Barnsley win or draw would help.

There's only 3 goals difference though in our favour, so if we lose and they win, that'll be gone.

Whatever we want it'll be the opposite.

People thought our season was decided after that Huddersfield game

No way will it be decided tomorrow, if people think the Millwall result will define our future they need to relax a bit

Win and we're not secure, defeat and we're certainly not down

We could do with a draw in the Hull v Middlesbro' game tomorrow
I'd prefer Middlesbro to thump Hull by 0-3.
Absolutely.  Some mad people on here tonight.
The maths is that both teams would have dropped TWO points and only gained ONE each. So between them they would only have amassed TWO points in total as opposed to one team getting THREE. That means that TWO teams would have failed to close the gap significantly on us and with another game gone would only have matched what we achieved at Cardiff.

And you clearly thought that Hull were destined to go down and that Middlesbrough were safe because of the genius that is Warnock but I bet that the bookies are laughing at those who thought that they would win tonight. We need as many teams below us as possible because the likes of Luton and Barnsley might find form too. Or have we dismissed them too as certainties to go down?

The fact is that it is in our hands now. What any other team do should be irrelevant especially as three wins will be enough to stay up but six draws might not - the former gets us NINE points but the latter, despite meaning that we finish the season unbeaten in our last nine games, only gives us SIX points and that might not be enough.

There are those that think others are mad but that opinion is just a mask for their own madness.

In the Championship even the bottom side averages 1 point per game
In the Premier League 5 sides are below this average

Not a chance! We are three points behind Birmingham and reading with them both still to play! Tomorrow night makes no difference! Just handy for confidence if we can get a win!
