Great preview again by the way, @ForeverAddickted - got too carried away with writing my thoughts as they came to me.

One more from you next week, it's been great to share to responsibility of the previews with yourself.
Once you are promoted to your new job I expect plenty of inside knowledge on here 😁
    We can only hope!

For those who follow the matchday thread, I hope to be doing my bit tomorrow but unfortunately I have someone coming to see me tomorrow between 11am and 2pm, so how much I can contribute I do not know, I can only hope they come at 11 and are gone by 12

As others mention, such a huge match. A win would be massive. Reading are an away team specialist and should play with total freedom. Its going to be a nervous ride and I fear fatigue will kick in. 2-0 to Reading and it could go down to the last game.

Can we score the goals that we need?

    I really, really hope so!

This is what it will come down too.

I think we’ll have another performance like the Millwall one unless we get a goal early.  More huffing and puffing

    0-0 or 0-1 to them

A win would be about as massive as it is possible to be.

Even more massive than Sheffield Wednesday!

Our greater need spurs us on to a 2-1 win, their consolation coming in the last 10 leaving us fans sh*tting ourselves when the added on time Board shows a further 8 minutes. Bonne and Aneke

Need 4 points minimum before end of season - Leeds don't fancy us to get anything and really don't think we'll beat Wigan so this is a must not lose but also very close to a must win, and for that reason I'm going for a 2-0 loss

Blimey, a win must be on the cards looking at that goals package.

If Leaburn can score with his feet & Andy Gray can just score then we just be their hoodoo team.
  • I don't dislike the look of the side FA picked in his opening post:

    Phillips
    Matthews | Lockyer | Pearce | Sarr | Doughty
    Cullen | Pratley
    Williams
    Hemed | Bonne

but i think at home in a game we really need to win we shouldn't be going 5 at the back.

I'd take Sarr out and put Morgan in midfield, or play Purrington at LB and play Doughty further forward.

I'd also play Aneke instead of Bonne.

So you do dislike the side FA picked.
  • Early lead for us, 70 minutes of hope then concede a late equaliser.

I was very impressed with Aneke against Cardiff. I think he has to play, probably with Bonne. Williams too. I'd like Doughty and Sarr in there too. I think Bowyer has to get goal attributes in the team which includes assists.

Oztumer to make an appearance, and 2-1.

This feels much worse than the Hull game.... We seem so close to safety...but...

  • It’s here...n boy I’m nervous, this is potentially the season defining game...win & we are nearly there, draw n we are on the tipping point, lose & I then fear we are gone...cmon Lee put the correct plan & players in place...we can’t sit back & we need to keep at it till last kick, the 1st goal wins this game...Chuks & Williams (it will happen one day...🤔🙄) 2-1 the Addicks

5 at the back isn't defensive if the wing backs push up, and you have a CB like Sarr bringing the ball out into midfield

Tough, tough game but so crucial. We win and can start to relax (a bit) - we lose and meltdown ensues.
I'm going for a squeaky bum 1-0 win.

Biggest game of the season without a doubt. Win and we should be safe, lose and we are right in the shit.

Start well and don’t let up, even if we score first. Absolutely crucial we score first.

Another close game . I think we'll just edge it , but it might not be pretty . 2-1 to Bow's boys .

Ozzie in the squad, as is Williams and McGeady, interesting... let’s wait until team news is in but hopefully see an attacking side today.
