I agree, but they are unable to bring any new evidence forward so it is difficult to understand what the grounds for appeal would be.

Grounds will be 'we are a massive club and all Championship clubs rely on the revenue we generate'.

If they generate so much revenue for the other Second Division clubs how come they can't generate enough cash for themselves to operate in a legitimate manner without having to cheat like the Massive c***s that they have.

What an absolutely 'massive' bunch of pricks.

I agree with one thing that SW poster said. The EFL are waiting to see the final table before administering a points deduction. Now whether that's enough points to relegate them or not many so they stay up I have no idea.......but its the only logic that makes sense.

It's not the EFL's decision.

Hence why the appeal was heard by an independent commission.

I would have thought the Independent Commission was there to hear the facts & decide on whether they were innocent or guilty. The punishment surely should come from the EFL. Otherwise another "Independent" Commission could come up with a different punishment for the same offence.

I don’t think so as it was the EFL that appealed the fact that Mansfield were only given a further 2 point deduction by an independent panel.

My understanding is that the panel can increase a punishment beyond the guides and can also mitigate as well.

I am hoping that it is all in appeal now. It would be totally unacceptable for the punishment not to be decided before the season ended. After all, this is the reason it was all bought forward.

You see I have grave doubts about a point being enough on Wednesday let alone a win especially if we have no Matthews and Pearce... Ayling, Alioski and Hernandez will tear us apart.. a bit like that opening first 20 minutes at home where we should have been 3 nil down.

I've watched Leeds a few times this season with my old boss who is a massive Leeds fan and they can be utterly relentless going forward...to the optimists yes.... I will have some very large humble pie ready but we are not going to get anything from Leeds in my personal opinion. 

We need a Sheffield points deduction to stand a chance as I fear Luton will do enough, Wigan will probably edge it and don't be surprised if Barnsley turn up too just to feck it all up. 

Yes the fight and passion we gave yesterday was brilliant.. I couldn't have asked more... BUT where was it against Reading, Millwall, Hudders away and my personal favourite Derby away which will stick in the mind for a long while....toothless. 

To suddenly turn up now is too little too late. 

A Miracle please or League one beckons...

Wigan HAVE to win. Anything else & they are down

Luton HAVE to get something out of their game, and even then that might not be enough.

I still wouldn't be able to fully relax if they were beating Wigan at half-time.  They were 3-0 up against Sheffield Wednesday at half-time yesterday, and they almost blew it... and Wigan are better than Wednesday.

Why do they not have the balls to do it ?  SW are just another club & were in League 1 a few years back. They are nothing special. If we get relegated because nothing gets done about them then there will be ructions I can tell you.

That we aren’t lucky ( or big enough ) to enough get an advantage of a Sheffield Wednesday points deduction. It won’t happen . Just wait and see. They may get a points deduction but not enough to get relegated.
