His second choice was Croydon Athletic v Charlton U21 but according to the Croydon Twitter is off because of positive tests of opponents.
Only about 50 grounds watching Charlton but pre covid he would travel the world and watch matches. He has seen games in 28 different Countries including UAE, Serbia,Georgia, Singapore and Brasil including the Maracana.
He watched British Airways FC play at the end of one of the runways on Saturday and got some great pics of planes as well as trying out his new camera on the football action.
BA Fc 2 Sandhurst utd 1: Despite Sandhurst bringing out the big guns they are a team of Officers and Gentlemen but couldn't contain the BA team who were very good in the air.
Soapbox Sam junior saw an aircraft made of bubbly chocolate, he thinks it was an aeroplane.
What do you get if you cross a plane with a magician? A flying sorcerer.
Invisible planes. I can’t see them taking off.0 -
So dissapointed, got a ticket for tonight and should be taking up my seat right now but instead sat at home in a grump watching Chelsea wolves.
I really hope I can make the rescheduled game, been missing going back to the Valley so much.
Something really isn't right if Bristol can choose to postpone their game if sunderland can't with 8 first team players out2 -
Very intrigued to see what sanctions the EFL will place on Bristol Rovers, surely it’s a forfeit if they had the means to fulfil the fixture?Very strange that Sunderland have decided to play with 8 players out, whereas Bristol Rovers only have 2 missing.2

Interesting on Talksport earlier today Sandgaard said Bristol Rovers had 2 players with the virus.
Surely we have a case for the match to be forfeit given in terms of international call ups you can only call a game off if you're missing 3+ players.
Isn't this like the time when Middlesbrough called off a game back in 1997 or 98 around that time and they eventually had to forfeit the match? Can remember them kicking up a right fuss over it as I think they ultimately got relegated in the end?
But then can see the EFL just shrugging there shoulders and telling both teams to re-arrange the game the amount of faith I have in them.1 -

I do, however, find it strange that Sunderland weren't able to agree with the EFL about any possible repercussions. Surely there would be none seeing as they would be following Government guidelines......unless there is more going on at Sunderland than we know about (sanctions/ embargoes) or even failure to pay players.1 -
It's kick-off time!
This one really has got 0-0 written all over it.1 - Sponsored links:

Would seem like Bristol Rovers had the entire team training together, maybe indoors.
That would wipe out the entire squad. Or others maybe have symptoms but no test yet.0 -
Can't log onto Valley Pass.
Very poor from the club3 -
Lincoln 0 Shrewsbury 13
-
Sunderland 0 AFC Don's 12

I am tuned in anyway. .
Bit boring. No Scott Minto but bugger all else to do on Tuesday night.0 -
Something seems off with this to me. There must have been a few members of staff who are essential to be at a match who now have to isolate. You’d assume that would be the medical department more than anyone else.
I see no reason why Sunderland can have so many out due to this but can’t postpone, yet Bristol Rovers can just say we’re not travelling and cancel because of the same situation.
Real shame and feel for everyone who had a ticket for tonight.4 -

You’re welcome.
Oh yeah, because that’s what a vegan (not sure if I’ve ever mentioned I’m vegan) wants to watch on his birthday, ya big piss taker0 -

I'm surprised there isn't more pressure on the EFL from both us and Sunderland to explain itself. Surely even the EFL are capable of producing solid - and publicly available - regulations covering Covid related cancellations?
Don't get me wrong. I have nothing but sympathy for any club that has infections. But the losers here are Sunderland (literally, it seems). It could be us next, and this isn't on.2 - Sponsored links:

I cant see it being only 2 players involved and tbh I would rather them cancel than play and potentially pass it on to our squad0

The only other way is that they had already travelled. Then they got the results from their last test when they’re in London, and because they’ve all been together, the players can’t play so down to 16 in the squad. Then others have to self isolate so in theory, may not have had enough to play the game.2

And Happy Birthday @AddickUpNorth3

Not sure what the protocol is but I'd hope infected clubs have to submit some evidence.
The Sunderland situation suggests that there are potential punishments but there isn't sufficient clarity, for us fans but more importantly the clubs, as to how that works.

The EFL have made a rod for their own back here by not being clear, as UEFA was: https://www.uefa.com/insideuefa/mediaservices/mediareleases/news/0260-1043693afa4e-40877a739cf7-1000--new-principles-approved/But it’s a member’s organisation, why would the EFL be clear and potentially disadvantage some members given the varying squad sizes?0
