  • Gutted is an understatement
  • Got an email from the club inviting me to buy a stream about a minute before the postponement announcement.
  • Disappointing but might work in our favour if the rearranged game we have a few injured players back fit
  • That is a massive kick in the teeth the day before Tier 3.

    Fucking Covid...
  • Ah man, gutted. FFS.

They must’ve had at least 3 players and 2 members of staff, you then have the rest who have to self isolate that have been in close contact, like Oshilaja with Levitt.

Their game on Saturday must be off as well.

Changes things completely now. The way we train and what we do will be different. But gives players like Forster-Caskey and Williams the chance to play more minutes on Saturday.

    Have a good evening all.
  • Bugger.  Was looking forward to finishing work early

  • Looking on the bright side, it's more time off the clock on the Famewo + Inniss injuries, among others.
  • Just as long as we reschedule it for much later on the season so players like Innis & Famewo are back. None of this January lark like last season when we rearranged one just a few weeks ahead when we had loads of injuries.

Bottle jobs...  we'll play em with one arm behind our backs, GRRRRRR!!!

    Seriously, what can you do?
Remind footballers to adhere to Covid rules.
But footballer = thick as a house brick
So representative of British society in general then.
  • My son is a ground hopper and 12 matches  out of 22 in the lower leagues that could have had spectators up to Midnight within 20 miles or so have been called off because of the pandemic.

His second choice was Croydon Athletic v Charlton U21 but according to the Croydon Twitter is off because of positive tests of opponents.

Prince Charles, Prince William and Boris Johnson who caught the Virus because they didn't have the brains to stop shaking hands back in early spring.
  • Couldn't we let them borrow a few players to make up the numbers?
  • Couldn't we let them borrow a few players to make up the numbers?

    That happened in WW2.

Another game in hand then, what a load of bollocks. Games building up , shame we cant play someone else or claim the game or something just getting ridiculous
Claiming the game is ridiculous. Imagine we were to lose a potential 9 points over something we can't control.
How do we know they couldn’t control it though? Were the infected just unlucky or behaving irresponsibly?

TS has just said that 2 of their players have gone down with Covid.

WTF!!!... TWO players - takes the absolute piss that does!!
  • Sandgaard said 2 players of theirs only had covid. That is a joke if true.
  • Oh shit......was really looking forward to tonight.😩

Others would probably be in isolation.
  • We lost Levitt and Oshilaja for Burton | Ipswich | MK Dons | Shrewsbury for the same reason!!
  • It would be ironic if Oztumer was one of the players who tested positive...
  • Really gutted, especially with Tier 3 kicking in at midnight.

Really feel for those who hadn’t made it to a game yet this season who have had tonight taken away from them.
