London faces a move to tier three - England's highest level of coronavirus restrictions - in the coming days, the BBC has been told.
Ministers and officials are said to be "deeply concerned" about a sharp rise in Covid-19 cases across the capital.
BBC health editor Hugh Pym reports London MPs have been briefed on the data, but no decision has been taken.
The weekend saw crowded shopping streets in London, which is currently under tier two restrictions

Just said on the Covid thread that THESE are the people who should be getting vaccinated first.......not the over 80's who are mostly staying indoors & complying with all the rules, esp around the wearing of masks.
They are an average, inconsistent L1 outfit with a new and very experienced manager who has got them organised .. we need to be beating them and their like, although we find it difficult to do so .. the team should be buzzing after Saturday but they (B Rovers) put four past the Wombles (away) so complacency has no place at the Valley and no team in this League should be underestimated ((:>)
CAFC 2 v Bristol Rovers 1
They were clinical against Wimbledon, there wasn’t much in it at all, easily could’ve been a draw.

Let's just hope that the vaccine does it's trick, or we could even end up with no end of the season show, back to the ppg scenario. We are banking on the teams to keep clean as well of course.
I'd like to see Purrington at LB with Maatsen further forward. Or you could have it the other way round, with Purrington as a defensive minded left midfielder allowing Maatsen freedom to overlap
Either way, we need to use the squad, with our midfield resources slightly thin at the moment. Maybe it's a game for Levitt to play in, not at the base but in the "Shinnie" role?

predicting another dull grind of a first half and then hopefully something better when we have enough quality attacking players on the pitch second half - roll on the window

Reward the fuckers?
Can see what Golfie’s point is. Can also see your point - it’s so hard and so divisive isn’t it.
Tomorrow night could be the last game anyone can attend until the very end of the season I reckon.
Best to take one game at a time !
Anyone going tonight, be as positive as possible, to create energy. The Dystopian 2020 will encapsulate 2021 as the pandemic still makes gains as it mutates on its Journey.
Football is our escape from reality, and the result will always matter to fans. I can't see us keeping a clean sheet so need to keep on the front foot after the 2nd half against the Dons when the shackles were off and we attacked down the flanks and got midfield players JFC and Jonny Williams into the box to convert.
No idea who is fit tonight so can't give a score but if we reverse back into our shell like a tortoise in winter after the excitement on Saturday, it will be such a disappointment.
Rovers after a poor start are finding form, we need to be clinical in our attacks and error free at the back.
2-0 Charlton Failing that, just praying none of our fans go on talksport to boast about how they left the game early. And desperately hoping not to hear any booing, under any circumstances, from anyone privileged to be there at the last game of the winter.

There was even booing at half-time on Saturday. As much as I love our fan base, we do have some dunces

"Bristol Rovers came to The Valley with a terrible record, but within 5 minutes showed they were determined to change that"
but...
Bloke ended Grant Basey's career and only got a yellow card.
