Tom’s legacy to us are the brilliant photos, for me the late 60’s/ early 70’s ones, that keep the memories alive from a different era. Thank you Tom.2

There is only one word to describe him.
Legend.

Very sad news.
I have spent most of my Charlton supporting life enjoying Tom's pictures in the programme and elsewhere. Hard to believe his album will not be added to again.

RIP Tom
Remember him getting knocked flying by a Les Berry slide tackle on a soggy afternoon at Wrexham many years ago, needless to say he picked himself up and carried on. Another Charlton legend sadly departs the stage.0 -
RIP Tom.I have a framed colour team photo of the 1988/9 taken by Tom, signed by all the plyera.Won on an auction on Charlton Chat one Sunday evening back in the day.Had to go and pick it up from Roy King's gaff.0

Even as a 8 year old, I'd always look out for him before the game and feel happy when he was in position.
His photos in the matchday programme were superb.
Thank you Tom and RIP.1 -

RIP Tom enjoyed a load of his photos over the years...0

Awful news, just realised that I was at 3 of the 4 games in the clubs montage photo on the OS, so he’s been a big part of my Charlton supporting life without either of us knowing each other personally.
True club legend, RIP Tom1 -

RIP Tom, think he has the most work that adorns my walls. True legend and a true gentleman2

A friendly unassuming individual, always happy to talk about anything Charlton and his latest photos/scoop.
Yes, a legend for sure......I look forward to a book cataloging some of his countless thousands of photos, it must be on the agenda in the not too distant future.
RIP.....Tom....RIP.........and thanks mate, for a job well done.
Good riddance to 2020 & UP THE ADDICKS!1 -
Tom, what can one say. As a friend you always made us welcome, as a photographer you always caught the correct moment. Having Zoom calls with Tom during lockdown this year your technical sense no one could fault. Now we can no longer speak with you but your photos that hang on our wall will always remind us of you. A friendship that goes back to the early 70’s.Always remembered. You and Colin Cameron must be having a good catch up now. We will raise a glass to you tonight.14
