However, after this evenings post-match interview I think the manager has had enough.
He hasn't just thrown a player or two under the bus, he's put on full Rambo outfit, lobbed a couple of smoke grenades into the dressing room and started spraying bullets everywhere.
There can't be a player left in that squad who'd want to run through brick walls for the boss.
It's a sad day for the Charlton Athletic Football Club.
Welcome to Danish Dan the next manager of Charlton some no mark that fans can get behind for a year.
Then perhaps genuine fans would be more willing to draw a line under it and allow Bowyer to do what he needs to do behind closed doors.
I think it is very poor management to single out individual players publicly like he has done.
I'm just saying be careful what you wish for.1 -

When you build a team, usually it's most successful when the manager has a way of playing and he or the club bring in players to fit that system, the right type of player AND the right personality. Coleman's Accrington are a perfect example.
Instead we have a hastily built squad of players and a manager who doesn't know who his best players are or his best system. Or even if he does, can't play them for 90 minutes anyway. And a squad which looks unbalanced as well, with too many "nice" midfielders and not enough physical presence. Plus too many injuries of course.
Add to that a manager with a tendency to fall out with "flair" players who don't do the dirty side of the game, hence we have top quality L1 players like Williams and Maddison looking lost and/or demotivated out there (Fosu 2 years ago was similar). Which does beg the question of why we signed Maddison if Bowyer isn't going to accept his style of play...
TS has a decision to make. A change of manager would at least enable a few members of the squad to start again AND hopefully a more settled formation and team, but there are definite flaws in our squad which we aren't able to address now due to the salary cap.

Every Saturday we follow
The boys in red and white
They’re pissing off Lee Bowyer
I think he’s looking for a fight

Why didn't Delhi track back as cover for their first goal. He watched his team mate when he could have helped. Someone tell me Lapslie is worse than Morgan as he looked lost. We do not have ball winners and without that bite in midfield we are just a mistake away from defeat every match. Do hope LB finds another Cullen as we will struggle without one.1

Tonight Im not as down as I was a couple of months back, we was beaten by a better team all over the pitch tonight.
The performaces against Shrewsbury, Gillingham, Burton, Swindon (MK Dons played us off the park) wound me up more.3 -
Cafc43v3r said:I'll ask a question, can someone answer it.
Who tried to sign Marcus Maddison for 2 transfer windows, even traveled to Peterborough to speak to him, knowing we were under an embargo. Then signed him once he was out of contract?
Would that be the same person that publicly begged Williams to sign in the summer of 2019?
Did he not know they weren't a pair of David Batty's?
A) Lee Bowyer
B') Roland
C) The fans
D) Lyle Taylor
E) Omar Bogle
F) Morgan Fox
G) the super duppa phone.
Please DM me if you can think of any more candidates.0 -

The players let him and us down tonight.
If one of my senior managers criticised his or her staff in public, including claiming to not care about their welfare, their feet wouldn’t touch the ground as I escorted them from the building.
it is piss poor people management, pure and simple.40 -

Gilbey again absolute toilet but gets 90mins. He hides, plays safe balls sideways the whole game, just 'passes the buck'
Im one of Morgans biggest fans but he looked lost tonight, almost disinterested for a player who always wants the ball.
Pearce, still thinks wrestling players is an art.
Maatsen, so impressed to start with but just looks to be trying to avoid injury if you ask me recently.
Gunter 99 International caps but gets turned inside out by a league one winger every week.
Honestly there is no way back for me this season with the players we have, course I'll still watch every game just like the past 40 years but there has to be some (very) drastic changes this season for us to make top 6.
Positive - Deji played really well for me
Maatsen to me is an 18 year old struggling in an out of form side who is not getting the support he deserves from his so called seniors and betters.
I just hope Chelsea don't recall him because that really would put the cap on it.9 -

unfortunately the fallout from the demise of our team under LB are some of the worst divisions ever seen in our fan base. An petty name calling and arguments. We are living in a depressing troubled time (not LB,s fault) but our team imploding in front of our eyes every week, is adding to this agony, and I’m sure to the depression of some of our fans.RaplhMilne said:Bailey said:Take no notice 1968, most of the posters on here believe that only they have a divine right to an opinion, write what you want and take pleasure in the fact that you are annoying the soppy little pratts.

As always I try and apply perspective. Difficult with the current performances and unless something Changes then realistically we are going to be nowhere near play offs. That will be disappointing but I am beginning to reduce my expectations for this season. The sooner Innis, Famewo and Shinnie are back the better but we can't really use this as an excuse for the recent performances. Need to beat Rochdale on Tuesday or we really do start to smack of a team in crisis. Try to keep the faith all.1

I just wish he would take some of the responsibility on himself, that is all.1 -

Bowyer had no interest In football after he retired. Robinson with his gob somehow talked him into coming back(maybe he was wrong). Bowyer was then left in charge and done an amazing job under the circumstances. I'm not saying that makes him untouchable but I'd give him this season with the new ownership to build.
I don't think he will even get this season though as it appears so many want him gone.
So when some random Danish manager rocks up with a Charlton kit on I'm sure everyone will behind him.

Sadly I can’t see this ending well for bowyer, throwing the team under the bus after the way he has been managing lately seems very odd. I would be amazed if his post match interview has any effect of a positive reaction, if that was his aim.The players don’t seem to be playing for him anymore, you can’t sack a whole team, so as they say the buck stops with the manager. Bows does seem to be going down the Roy Keane path, also shades of the all round negativity mourinho brings when things go tits up for him. They turn to blaming everyone else but themselves.4

Poor performance overall and the team know this. Accrington took their chances and were more physical; we were too slow in possession. They defended in numbers, and well. We did not finish clinically enough.Millar looks a good quality loan signing, bit more training work needed in the final third. His positive forward runs were good to see. Link up work with Maatsen also looked promising. I think they will gel and get more understanding. Rate them both for such young players. Millar gave him options, which Maatsen needs and responds well to.The team needs to step it up. Work harder and hunt in groups when pressing for the ball. I saw Schwartz trying to work with Aneke on this up front a couple of times. But they need to work together in units on the pitch. There was congestion in central midfield because of Accrington's shape, and this stifled us once we stopped using the wings, and Accrington sat back after the 2nd goal.We had many of chances, just needed a little more quality when they came.We are in a run of bad form. Need the team to respond, and the experienced players to help our manager get them all back onto winning form.
