Look at all our injuries and our bloody defence 😂😂😂😂Oh I see. So YOU are a member of the Ruling Party, the larger mob, so only your opinion counts?Maybe it's actually a matter of quality over quantity.

I think his comments were about two players bottling tackles and he also named his two centre backs as lacking in desire to battle their front two. Is he right ? I remember Denis Rommedahl jumping out of the way of a tackle at West Brom, most supporters were furious but Curbs never uttered a word publicly. These are different days perhaps but the fact for me is Bowyer decides he won't put up with it and was correct about both players actions. I don't like Maddison as a player and this is not the Jonny Williams we knew two seasons back, if it were me I simply wouldn't play them which is what Curbs did with that Tosser Rommedahl.3

However, after this evenings post-match interview I think the manager has had enough.
He hasn't just thrown a player or two under the bus, he's put on full Rambo outfit, lobbed a couple of smoke grenades into the dressing room and started spraying bullets everywhere.
There can't be a player left in that squad who'd want to run through brick walls for the boss.
It's a sad day for the Charlton Athletic Football Club.
Welcome to Danish Dan the next manager of Charlton some no mark that fans can get behind for a year.
Then perhaps genuine fans would be more willing to draw a line under it and allow Bowyer to do what he needs to do behind closed doors.
I think it is very poor management to single out individual players publicly like he has done.
I'm just saying be careful what you wish for.
Bowyer had no interest In football after he retired. Robinson with his gob somehow talked him into coming back(maybe he was wrong). Bowyer was then left in charge and done an amazing job under the circumstances. I'm not saying that makes him untouchable but I'd give him this season with the new ownership to build.
I don't think he will even get this season though as it appears so many want him gone.
So when some random Danish manager rocks up with a Charlton kit on I'm sure everyone will behind him.
Karl Robinson lost a lot of the fan base by loosing to Gillingham. But fucking Accrington Stanley?
The wage cap isn't an excuse because they didn't make us pay Gunter and Watson about half of their 1st 11s wages.
I am not embarrassed we lost to Accrington Stanley, I am embarrassed we didn't give our selves a chance to win and were out played, out thought and out battled.
Yes we didn't lose to them whilst playing at Selhurst but we were still awful to watch there against whoever we played. I'm as lost as you why we ain't battling but Im hoping LB can sort that out still.
The wage cap is not an excuse it's a fact and it's fkd us. I just think LB needs a bit of breather and change of plan.
I don't think he will be given that time though
The same is true for Burton, MK Don's, Shrewsbury etc etc. I'll give you a clue, it's about 5 or 6.0 -

Completely understand Lee Bowyer digging the players out and its obvious who he was talking about. He has high but completely achievable standards and watching players hide from the ball, pull out of 50/50s and look to take the easy way out is not on
Accrington were good for the win, we made them think they could have had 4 or 5 and they should have
i know that Lee’s comments are going to polarise opinion and you may well be right , but we don’t really know the whole story.0 -

There are quite a few people on here who rip into to people because they don't agree with them, trying to almost troll them into shutting up. Don't become one of them Raplh .
My general well being would be far better if we winning games, and heading for the top of the table rather than the middle. Waiting for the next game hoping it’s going to suddenly change, only to see the same dross, is demoralising. Following tonight, I have given this season up now. Our demise would seem irreversible, if it’s only going to turn on Inniss and Famewo returning, then it’s all going to be over. They may well have to come back to stop us going down.

unfortunately the fallout from the demise of our team under LB are some of the worst divisions ever seen in our fan base. An petty name calling and arguments. We are living in a depressing troubled time (not LB,s fault) but our team imploding in front of our eyes every week, is adding to this agony, and I’m sure to the depression of some of our fans.RaplhMilne said:Bailey said:Take no notice 1968, most of the posters on here believe that only they have a divine right to an opinion, write what you want and take pleasure in the fact that you are annoying the soppy little pratts.

Positive - Deji played really well for meYou must have seen a different interview. No mention of Deji criticism in Richard Cawley's piece. And having watched the game, I can't find any argument with it.
From Richard Cawley, London Online:
Lee Bowyer tears into his Charlton Athletic side and calls display against Accrington Stanley “unacceptable”
Lee Bowyer blasted the performance of his Charlton team after tonight’s 2-0 loss to Accrington Stanley. The Addicks manager has been critical of his side’s performances on more than one occasion this season. And successive reverses – Colby Bishop striking in either half – have dropped the SE7 outfit out of the League One top six.Bowyer said: “They deserved to win – from start to finish they looked hungrier, they had more fight. I just said to the players that it’s probably the calmest I’ve ever been after a defeat ever. And it’s because I can’t defend what’s just happened.
“It’s not like my team. My team, you fight for everything. And then at least if you come off you say: ‘I’ve given everything’. There were too many last week, too many this week who think they can just turn up and be given three points. We got outfought and outbattled. We were too soft.
“First goal – it’s laughable. It’s like going to watch Sunday league football, that goal. What, the goalkeeper catches the ball and just punts it up there? You have a mix up. Come on, you’re meant to be professional footballers. That can’t be happening.“You’ve got to take pride – two experienced players. Your captain and your goalkeeper. That’s a poor goal.
“At times we moved the ball well and we had to move it well because we don’t have that physicality until we bring Chuks [Aneke] on.“We had to be brave and try and play out at times, maybe overplay at times but when we did do it then we looked dangerous. But again, in front of goal, they threw their body on the line, blocked shots and their keeper made some good saves.
“It’s just not good enough. Not acceptable. And to play for this football club, you think it’s acceptable to jump out of tackles? Literally jump out of the way. Again. That’s two players now. To play for this football club you should be proud and fight for this shirt. There are too many that turn up, think it is okay ‘I’ve got another one Tuesday’ – because we have got injuries and we’re short in midfield.
“Maybe people think ‘I have to play because there is no-one else’. So they think they can take it easy, I don’t know. I don’t know – I can’t put my finger on it.“But what I’ve witnessed just there is not what I expect from any of my team. Disappointed….I’m being very, very polite there.
“Sometimes it’s not about what I do. I said to the players: ‘You have to look at yourselves at times’. Do you accept what you’ve just done on the pitch? Do you accept it, as a professional footballer? Some of them, it’s their career. Some of them are coming up in the last year of their contract. Some of them are playing for contracts, whether it is with this club or a different club. They are on Sky tele – these are the days, if anything, you express – not go the other way.
“When I say you’ve got to be brave – fight and compete – that also means to be brave getting on the ball. Not just hiding. Get on the ball and make something happen for your team. Not just the physical side.“What will I do? I will speak to them as individuals. But as a starting 11 there isn’t really much you can do. The midfield is the midfield. That’s the three midfielders who are fit and eligible to play today. And Tuesday – it will be no different.
“Jonny Williams came on. Was he any better than any others? No. You’re bringing midfielders on and thinking ‘ come on, now give us that bit in the last 20, 30 minutes’. Chuks did. Chuks made a difference. The other two didn’t. If anything it made us weaker. And I have to take the blame for that. I brought on subs to try and make us better and it made us weaker. But that’s players who have to look at themselves as well. Have I given enough? Could I have given more? If any of them walk off that pitch and say:
“I gave everything’ then they are liars.“I can do so much but sometimes it comes from within. If you accept that is good enough then you’re in the wrong game. And you’re definitely at the wrong club – because you have to fight at this club.”

Bowyer can't big up Gunter and Watson as "transfer coups" then blame the fact they actually cost money as a reason he can't replace them 3 or 4 months later.
Both of those deals weren't last minute. They were on the table last January, if not before1
