Nice to see Billy French getting games. He was excellent a year or so ago against Eastbourne United and I haven't seen him in any teams until recently.2

You do realise that Greenwich is predominantly Millwall and always has been. Nothing has changed

Rubbish, I have lived in the borough of Greenwich for 76 years and no way there are more spanner fans.0 -

Went there a few times as a kid when my old man played football in the banks league. From memory it wasn't particularly popular with Midland/HSBC staff. Around 1990 HSBC decided it had too many sports ground in the area (the main ground at Beckenham, Ravensbourne and Samuel Montague, which is now Shooters Hill Sports & Social club) so looked to close one. Ravensbourne was their first choice due to it's unpopularity, but they owned both Ravensbourne and Beckenham, whilst they only leased Samuel Montague off of the boys club (of the same name which shares the same field), so ended up closing that one.
My parents actually ran that club from 86 to 90, so it resulted in my Dad going back to work for the bank in the city.

Shared seven goals with Bristol City today.
Ignore imposter threads. 😁
One impact of the removal of the salary cap could be that over 21s not currently in the first team squad, which was limited to iirc 23 players, can now more easily be moved into the first team squad although Covid19 protocols will hamper this.1 -

And why we didn't sign a couple of u21s, but over 18s, in the window?
Henry (What an unfortunate name) and Barker are U18s aren't they?

Without a shadow of a doubt, Henry will be a Premier League player.Already the u23’s best player at 17. Once he fills out a bit he should head out for some first team football2

We seem to have a lot of young keepers other than AMB
Nathan Harness (on the bench on Saturday)
The confusingly similar Nathan Harvey

We've got another international goalie in the U16s - James Pradic (Wales).
