Has Bowyer lost it?

Not a cat in hells chance are we making the play offs this season so we might as well start planning for next season. Best way to do that is to bring someone in now to start looking at what what we need to do and to give them a summer to do it. Sad as it is, Bowyer is not the manager to take us to the next level and Sandgaard needs to address that if he doesn’t want his business to flounder any longer.3

Stick with him until the end of the season and then review it. It's good to be talking about the football rather than which con has taken us over. When you compare what was going on this time last year I'd take how it is now all day long. What we need is stability now. Get behind him.

As I keep saying every week more have to move from their position of support to realise he should have gone in December.
Ever since he showed player bias and publicly called out certain players the performances have dipped alarmingly.7 -
We are in a state - Christ knows how many times he changed the formation today. Doesn’t know his best XI, doesn’t know his best formation, hasn’t got a clue how to get the best out of players and looks lost. It’s getting worse by the game. TS has to act now - if that’s to salvage this season or build for next then then so be it. . We are going backwards under Bowyer and he needs to be relieved of his duties.6

I remember Arsenal players sulking and moaning about every decision just like Wenger. Liverpool lively and energised (prior to this season)like Klopp
I've just watched the Bowyer interview he looks listless and uninspiring and has done for months pre and post match..
His side are a reflection of him.
Maybe time for a change.
Disagree.
It is a lot more of a mixed bag. It is nowhere near as straightforward as that at all.
We need repairing.
It doesn't mean you simply just bring in a new manager but that option is always the easiest.
The players are adults. They get paid to do the job they do. They are not babies.

Sounded lost in his post match today.
No fight. Not at all bullish. Apathy and resignation in defeat.Miss the old Bows1 -
Don't despair. We'll snatch an unconvincing win soon and the bow lovers can rub it in the faces of those who think he's not up to the job..............

Purely speculation of course, but Bowyer's post match interview sounded to me like a man who knew he needed to win today.
Maybe a conversation has already been had or is scheduled.
Possibly gone before Tuesday?? We shall see0 -
Please please for the love of god stop this mindless support behind a man who is totally without spirit, drive, passion, tactical nous and leadership. Everything you need to get a decent set of players playing.
Enough is enough. If the owner listens to fan opinion at all getting behind Bowyer could kill this club for a very long time. Too long in this league will have long term consequences.
Too many hide behind ‘just having a club. Well I don’t run my business just to exist and I don’t expect my football club to work in the same way.
Just stop this craziness now as it can’t carry on.9 - Sponsored links:

Two shots in the game. Poor conditions yes but Fleetwood adapted to them so much better than us.Bowyer changed formation more times in that second half than I have changed my socks this week.Time to try and get either cook or the cowleys ready for next seasons promotion push0

However, LB cannot be defended any more; he just is not good enough and the results show it.2 -
I want Bowyer gone and this isn't a results things this is on a human level. He looks and sounds depressed, I think the good times are gone. That voice doesn't strike me as one that is gonna get players playing, he has depressed me and all I have to do is watch. I think the last year or so has taken it's toll. I do believe he is a capable manager and if he went elsewhere with a fresh start and scenery he could do well but I just think we are done.
It's the comments I can't deal with anymore. Overachieving, saying a team who is in 16th who have won like 2 games in 15?? Are a good side, cmon Lee ffs. I actually can't defend comments like that. We make these teams look good!
I am sorry for the sudden change I am genuinely quite patient but that's me done. I am not watching us get outshot by 5 times over by Fleetwood and listening to my manager say they are a good side. It's absolute bulls**t
I would take Curbs in a heart beat. It's unfinished business imo and from his talks I think he still has what it takes.

I don't know of any manager even at grass roots level I came up against (and including myself) who didn't understand that with wind like today, you press high and aim to go in 2 or 3 to the good.
Bowyer blamed the players for playing it long, but surely he has an input in how we play FFS! He needs to go now. A new face is the best chance on us going on a run.0 -

The brand of football we now have is as bad as I can ever remember it.
Fleetwood have won 1 in 12 and they battered us today.
We are getting worse with bowyer. How anyone can defend this is beyond me.
He has to go now.
Quite a few already said it but Bowyer just looked and sounded both depressed and disillusioned tonight. This can't be doing him any good. The sooner TS pulls the trigger, the better both for LB and the club.5 -
My thoughts on Bowyer have been neutral until now. I don’t think this thread should be a question, Bowyer has lost it.3

We play bottom of the league Burton at home on Tuesday. If there ever was a match which we must win. This has got to be it for Bowyer.1

On a positive note we can't get much worse.4

Sadly, we may have more chance of making the play offs if we lose on Tuesday if it means a manager who has lost the plot goes. The squad is good enough but is playing within itself. Maybe they are afraid to get dug out if they try anything!
If he was a loyal as some say, he would walk.1 -

With the players we have (and don't forget in this transfer window Bowyer has signed Millar, Schwartz, Stockley, Jaiyesimi and Smith - what other manager at this level has been able to sign those sort of players?) it is ludicrous we are being played off the park by a team like Fleetwood.
Make the change now and let's see if through some miracle this season can be saved.3 -
You'd have to be pretty crap to lose to Burton. How did we do against them away?1
-
Every post match interview he does he seems to say the other team are a 'good side' no matter where they are in the league. Maybe it's because we make every team we play look good!2

That interview was the opposite of Bowyer a few months ago. Rather than anger, frustration and outbursts blaming players/fans/refs he sounds like he’s given up on this squad. That’s not good for him or the players. I don’t think TS is right when he said player for player we have one of the best squads in the league, but Bowyer seems to have gone to the other extreme and has no real expectations of the players. Some of things that made him a good manager in the past were his high expectations and the belief he gave the players. This squad isn’t what some think it is, but Robinson’s 17/18 squad made the play-offs, this squad should be able to do the same.4

What I don't get is why some fans can't see that the version of Bowyer we have now is a million miles away from the Bowyer who took over from Robinson with 10 games reaming and 5 points to make up to reach the play offs.
He is different in his tactics, moving from front foot (probably the most front foot manager in the division) to probably the most negative and cautious. He is different in how he finds negatives in everything when before he found positives and he is different in his disgraceful behaviours ( players were commenting what a great dressing room we had before we changed).
Why are we persisting with him when the difference in the man is a plain as the noses on our faces?2
