This update on facebook from my mates on picking up their little boy from nursery.

Scott: What was your favourite part of today?

Lochie: Rest time. I didn't go to sleep; I ate Coco Pops out of my sock.
    Me [Ella] and Scott: What?
Lochie: Yeah. I hid them in there this morning before we went...

When a mate gets in touch to tell you he’s got you four bottles of Mythos from the speciality beer shop. Been yearning some of that Greek goodness.

Another Liverpool home defeat, roast chicken in the oven, one of the wife’s mojitos in hand and a decent bottle of red breathing on the dinner table.
  • Quite amused to receive an email from Wilkinson Sword offering 'Mother's Day Bundles'.  Razor blades on Mother's day?  Whatever happened to flowers?

Four years ago Xena and Valli had their first of two fights, over the last four years we’ve been working with them to get them to tolerate each other. As anyone with females will tell you two females fighting is the worse thing to see they just won’t stop until they’ve been separated. This week the smaller female Xena came into the lounge of her own accord and Valli allowed her in, they both trotted off to get a treat from the kitchen and returned to the lounge. Would have been so easy to ship one of them off somewhere but we’re making progress in the way we wanted. Never say never.

Getting a job offer to finally get out of a horrible soul destroying, energy sapping, depression inducing job that I've been stuck in for 2 years and do something that I will enjoy and actually care about.

Fuck yes and fuckity bye to the unnamed organisation I will be leaving!
    See you later, Meghan.

Seriously, well done mate. What will you be doing, or is that remaining unnamed as well?

Thanks mate. Cracked open a beer at midday (supposed to be working) to celebrate!

I will be doing population health analysis which is really interesting and ties in with my studies. The key point though is analysis, for an analyst I've been stuck in a corner, about 7 stages removed from what little actual analysis that goes on in my current place. I cant wait to actually see some data again!
  • Well done @cantersaddick
  • Congratulations Canters!!

Really hope that this'll be an opportunity for you to show what you can do rather than stepping from one shite organisation to another

Cheers, I hope so too. I have some friends who have worked there and the have nothing but good things to say about it. The type of work and organisational culture seem exactly what I am after.

Usually, I “lol” something if I find it a bit amusing.
This has had me chuckling for a good 5 minutes. Mehmet, you’re a funny bugger.

Offered and accepted a new job in Camden starting on 5th April. Will be 5 days back in the office which will be a shock to the system but a massive weight off my shoulders.
    Well done, great news.

Sunderland winning at Wembley at last. Shame their fans are not there to see it though, they are generally a decent bunch so I am pleased for them.

I enjoyed that Salford won last year's final yesterday.  That'll be a great quiz question in the future.

Just to be clear, the symbol of Nimes is a crocodile, rather than a gummy crocodile...
