Some brilliant quotes in there. A particular favourite was:
“We had a little bit of a standoff,” Everett explains. “And Southall said to me, ‘so, you think you can take me? Do ya?’

I know it's been said many times before, but thank you so much Chris, Olly, Tracey, Mick and Ben.
And Thomas as well.55 -
That brought a tear to my eye. Tracey, Ben, Mick, Olly and those who helped, I salute you.

Fake Rolex has been an in joke with us ever since.
Sums up Southall and what he sees as important.
The haircut story (£150 charged to the club) does as well.26 -
A really good read indeed.
I was aware of some parts of this that were previously unreleased but this really does paint the whole picture well
Proud to say a couple of people close to me also played a small part immediately after these events - but that's what anyone on here would have done for the club they support. Well, anyone except that fucking worm Lee Amis anyway4 -
Just brilliant. Absolutely made the right choice to side with Tahnoon having seen what they'd seen.
Some shocking parts in there, especially Southall getting an architect to mark up a private entrance to the director's box.5 -
Brilliant article. Really well written from Benjy Nurick. Charlton staff are really fantastic. Their actions helped get rid of Southall and provided a bridge to Thomas Sandgaard and proper, decent ownership. Heroes all.
Southall should never be let loose near a football club ever again.2 -
Brilliant article. A debt of gratitude is owed to them all.
Can't be many like @Tracey who go so far above and beyond the call of duty within their job roles. I won't forget her coming to my dads funeral as a club representative and arranging the amazing flowers

We gave Chris Powell a honorary title of Sir, I think from now on Tracey should be addressed as Dame Tracey.39

Distressing to read the impact it was having on @Tracey with Nimer giving her info that she couldn’t share - must have been very stressful
Good article, and great restraint shown by those who confronted him - I would have just thumped him, and dragged him out !!The abuse he hurled at them just shows what a turd he is6 -
Fascinating read and we have some truly wonderful people working at our club who we should all be grateful for. I've known Mick since he set up the Medway supporters branch so it doesn't surprise me one bit what he did that night. Charlton to the core.6

Yeah but Tracey’s a wrongun 🙄
Hereos the fecking lot of them ❤️7 -
What an amazing read.
wasn’t there a poster on here who was backing southall and said “all will be revealed”. Southall looks absolutely pathetic in this, a real bully.9 -

Great article. Thank you to those who stepped up when many others would of shrank.1

Creepy Farnell lurking in the car park, like some wannabe littlefinger.14

Wow absolute heroes.Southall is one horrible **** and I hope he gets whatever is coming for him.11

A bald man going out of his way to get his haircut infront of people. I believe there has been previous reports of him boasting about how much it cost. All sounds like someone who is rather in denial about his baldness and is overcompensating. Of course this whole sorry debacle paid for what is the worst hair transplant ever seen on earth so it all ended well for Mr Pube-Head.15

Bloody hero’s the lot of them.3

Well written article but am I the only one troubled by this extract?:
"On the afternoon of Thursday, March 12th, Tracey Leaburn, Ben Hayes, Mick Everett and two of Everett’s trusted colleagues, Martin Rowden and John Little — who had stepped up to support Everett when asked — met at a Costa Coffee in Charlton".
Have those above ever come clean about the drinks (and, possibly, rice crispy chocolate cakes) purchased in Costa and how they were paid for? Were they charged to the club?
Costa Coffee is not cheap and I see no reason why the perpetrators above couldn't have convened at a greasy spoon or outside a McDonald's for a conflab.
The Range Rovers I can handle, but the above requires clarification.

Brilliant - all deserve their place in the history of our club.
Henners paraphrasing Dylan Thomas is my highlight of the article!6 -
What an absolutely brilliant article.
Huge thanks can only go to Tracey, Mick and Olly.
I really hope that one day someone will write a book about this last 10 years.
In the meantime, release that film Olly! 😁8 -

Saw I had shared this on Facebook one year ago today. Sounds like something from a football film or TV drama.

Brilliant article and a fascinating insight to what was going on - a debt of gratitude to all involved.
This is the story of one night - there must be a books worth of content on the last few years with the testimony of those on the inside. Frankly I'd love the same sort of insight on Meire and Duchatelet and their personal impact on the club and those around it...

Really well done to all involved that evening.0
