I think Millar’s been key to our attacking play, but at the same time he does have a habit of seeing people (notably Purrington) run past him, stopping, turning back, and passing to Pearce.
Maybe he’s worried about losing the ball whilst Ben’s out of position but it does stall our attacks sometimes...
That said, I don’t think we’ve had much joy down our right so 🤷🏻♂️1 -

It’s relative though, no reason a League One winger can’t play on the “wrong” side and be effective against League 1 full backs.Exiled_Addick said:Garrymanilow said:
Some of the best players in the world are left footers coming in off the right wing. Maatsen has a goal for us doing that exact thing. The ability of some of our fans to moan about any little thing at all remains the most entertaining part of match threadsgolfaddick said:And Maatsen is left footed......playing on the right.
Coaching badges.....aren't worth a fig.
This might be the reason they can do it though - they aren't League One wingers.
Personally I think it depends just how one footed they are. You have to be at least able to go the other way occasionally. DJ can, Millar really struggles to. The only really one footed winger I can think of who played on the wrong side successfully was Robben, and he was a bit of a freak.

I recall that was a Sky match so few would have seen himBriston_Addick said:
It'll be good for Carlo to get the full Custard TV treatment.ForeverAddickted said:The least famous Leaburn is on ValleyPass this Saturday...

Bit of a heavy touch from the Crewe player on their left means it runs through to Amos

I'd like to see Chuks and Washington replace Stockley and Maatsen.
The attack is a little too obvious0 -
Crewe come down our left, but Pearce shepherds it back to Amos.

Ref gives a free kick for a foul on Pearce on the half way line.

Please don't wait too long for subs Nigel. Can't afford to be chasing a result0

JFC sends it forward, Stockley heads sideways, but the 2 players in the area, can't get near it.

50' The ball falls kindly for Lowers, but his effort isn't strong enough to test Amos.0

Good bit of attacking play from Crew culminates in a spongefootesque shot straight at Amos.
