We’ve approached this tournament in pretty much the opposite way to everyone thought but fair play Southgate.
I still think he should’ve allowed more expression vs Scotland but he’s got us playing in a way that the top sides will hate.I’m feeling optimistic.0 -

Reporting from our holiday apartment on the German coast. A sure sign of how the German fans feel was the complete absence of flags from cars or balconies. They knew Jogi was a lame duck. But they were watching alright. As Muller dragged his shot wide I heard a collective groan from about six different apartments around us

That was a tough watch until Grealish came on.
Then things just started to make a bit more sense.
