The performances PS have been really good. As people keep saying they are only friendlies but even so we look good. We wont be facing many teams with the ability of Fulham and Palace in league one

agreed Leuth, we need a L winger or LM
Could we put Morgan out there with Jaiyesimi on the right & Stockley + Washington through the middle?
Adkins wants his 4-3-3. We need to sign a wide forward as a priority
Sticking rigidly to a formation rather than letting the players you have dictate how you set up gives me Karl Robinson vibes.
4-3-3 suits all of our players except Washington. It's a good set-up that needs a tiny bit of personnel fine-tuning
If Washington has a flying full back behind him, it could work really well and also allows us to flex 4-3-3 to 4-4-2 very easily.
I agree it could work with a Maatsen figure, but can't see how it becomes 4-4-2. Feels more like a lopsided 3-3-3-1 or something

Becomes 4-4-2 by Washington moving up front and Morgan out to the left.

Washington and Stockley up front. DJ left wing, Morgan/Clare tucked inside on the right hand side doing the JJ role.

    Or what @Scoham says

We won't play anyone with the fluidity of that Fulham front line, so basically it's a good work out. We just need to sharpen up on our passing game.

No subs for us at half time but Inniss expected to come off at some point (I think an hour was mentioned the other day)

If we start the season with Gunter at left back we are fucked
if we play large parts of the season with Gunter at left back, then i agree.  If he is only going to play a couple of games until Purrington is fit, then he can do a job.

We do need cover down the left in both attacking and defensive positions

Didn’t we didn’t we start last season with Charlie Barker as a starter? Not even on the bench today.

I don't think anyone is saying our first 11 is bad, it is a decent team.

The problem comes if any injuries or suspensions hit the team at all, we have very little depth to get through a season.

Yep, scratch beneath the surface and we’re struggling.

Fortunately we’ll be playing teams in the same position, most if not all clubs in our division will be looking to make several signings in the next month.

If we play like this against any league 1 team we will be fine.

It's not just the depth though. Our forwards aren't going to score us enough for promotion, even if they miraculously stay fit.

We are looking good PS friendlies or not. The team looks like it has a plan, style and hunger.

Giving this Fulham side a proper game, which should give us tons of encouragement.

Elewere and Claydon coming on - very interested in how they fair against more superior opposition.

I actually think he’s better coming in from the left than he is up front, but he needs an overlapping left back behind him to make it work. Him and Gunter isn’t going to work brilliantly against good teams

Really excited to see new Deji and new Alfie come off the bench. Big seasons ahead for both.
