He's only early to mid 20's too, if AEW play their cards right they have 20 years to build the promotion on people like him, Sammy Guevara, Jungle Boy Jack Perry, Derby Allin etc4

I can’t think of a heel as good as him since Vince McMahon. I know that sounds wild, but really, who has been as good as him?
Tomasso Ciampa was superb in NXT a few years ago - but there haven’t been many others that have felt anywhere near as legitimate as MJF.0 -

The Bryan Omega match is probably the best TV match I have seen since, well I can't actually remember a better one.1

The last TV match that I enjoyed as much as that was AJ Styles vs. Daniel Bryan on Smackdown last year.0

Controversial opinion…
I know he’s been away seven years, but CM Punk’s two matches have felt very slow and dare I say it…a bit boring.

No idea about the draft, last Raw had the Smackdown and Raw champions facing each other so it's meaningless anyway.0

Extreme Rules wasn’t too bad as it goes. I had little expectation for it, but it was actually watchable.
Really enjoyed the main event. I actually bought it that Balor was going to win in that final sequence.0 -

The only time it gets interesting is when someone appears or leaves NXT. Raw and Smackdown are indistinguishable.0 -
Back to all friends comedy hour on Wednesday night this week.0

Rumour now is that Bray Wyatt is likely to go to TNA, which I find a bit odd.
Mind you, AEW & TNA work together, so I guess he'll end up on AEW anyway0 -

AEW is not short on talent at the moment either. He could well be lost in the shuffle.0 -
I just don't think TNA is that popular & the production is very amateurish. Bray is a huge star so I'm surprised he wants to go there. A great coup for TNA though1

It's also not a massive surprise if you keep doing it. People can't miss you if you never go away and there are only so many combinations you can do off the bat.
Either pay them to stay at home or "let them" go to Impact, NJPW, even NWA or FMW, ring of honour, Europe or Mexico, what ever. Then when they do appear it is actually a surprise.1 -
Fans could get numb to surprises if they keep doing them. Ideally wait until the new year before another big one (e.g. not Lio Rush).

I understand the argument about the surprises being of diminishing returns. Conversely, I also a can see the suggestion that could be made that they have a momentum and they want to keep upping the ante.
Sadly, true surprises don’t tend to happen in wrestling at all anymore anyway.
Either way, AEW should bring him in. He’s a majorly recognised name in the business, and fits the AEW environment perfectly. I simply can’t see ask obvious reason as to why they wouldn’t do it.
Yes they have lots of big name talent, but they also have 3 hours of television each week. There is room.0 -

You put him on now, then owens, then generico, then Charlotte, then, then, then.
No one who didn't tune in for Punk, DB and Adam Cole Bay Bay is going to tune in for Bray. What's the plan for him now, in 3 months, in 6 months in a year?

But look at the likes of Jericho and Moxley. Both huge names to join at the time. They’ve both had title runs, and since those have ended have still been able to be written into decent storylines. Cody Rhodes hasn’t been in the main event picture in 2 years, but still feels like a star.I love watching every MJF segment. He could lose every match for all I care and I’ll still want to see him talk.
The point I’m making is that it doesn’t have to be a case where everyone gets pushed at the same time. That’s the sort of thing dedicated wrestling fans like us might read into, but it’s more important that the characters are entertaining whenever they’re on the show.
Bray Wyatt would possibly be touted as a new leader for Dark Order. It seems a bit obvious, but that’s not a bad thing. It’s a ‘mid card’ act, but it’s just extra added depth to the show.
I really like AEW, but they do have a few matches/characters scattered around who feel a bit average (Butcher and Blade, half the women’s division, Best Friends, QT Marshall, Ethan Page etc) could easily make room for big name incomers like Wyatt.1 -
Bray Wyatt is rubbish in the ring though and is a chore to watch in matches.0
