Levy is clueless - Nuno was destined to fail. Nobody decent will take the job under Levy.

I'll do it and hopefully get a big payoff just before Christmas.

SKY Italy are reporting that Antonio Conte will be in London today to hold talks with Spurs

Spurs are more of a basket case club then we were a few games ago!

Why not? Get paid….get pumped…..get paid.

The fans really need to start mobilising against ENIC.

Not sure he was the right fit, but why hire him in the first place then?

They had painted themselves into a corner. What was he....5th or 6th choice or something?

And he and the players all knew it too. It was doomed to failure.

Was always destined to fail when they didn't then sign 8 Portuguese players immediately

Bigger issues than Nuno - I think he's a good manager.

Spurs job is a poisoned chalice atm, with players clearly unhappy with each other based on the interviews following Saturday's match

He started off well. Sacking him is strange short fuse syndrome behaviour.

He has a win win here. Loads of money...and he can blame other people for the recent spurs slump.

They won't ever recover and have lost motivation since losing champions League final.

They are on mid table vision while Daniel levy is still the owner of the club.

Not seen Eddie Howe’s name mentioned. Plays the attractive attacking passing football that is apparently the ‘Tottenham way’

Spurs in advanced talks with Conte it seems but I wonder if Conte will be holding fire until he sees what’s going down in Manchester.

Had one hand tied behind his back with Kane swanning about trying his level best to not get injured.

Offered Conte an 18 month contract. Levy not looking for Conte to build a footballing dynasty then

Levy's big mistake was not selling Kane to citteehhh .. Kane is obviously pissed off at not getting his move and he has dragged the team down to a low level of non performance .. although it was opined by a Spurs fan on the radio that the players stopped performing for Poch, Mourinho and now for Nuno .. AND Eriksen is a big miss that Spurs haven't been able to replace

Imagine arriving for training this morning and then being told that you've been sacked having already read that you had been on various football forums the night before.

Potter at Brighton would be the best fit, but Spurs will want a big name.

A 'big name' manager will always find it difficult at Man U as long as Ferguson is still in a position of power. Conté would want his own way with no interference. And United's coaching staff ? .. mostly compliant ex players, Caddick ? Fletcher ? .. time servers who will toe the party line to stay in a well paid job. After the mauling by Liverpool, Ferguson turns up to read Ole Ole Ole the riot act and to be fair their performance improved this weekend .. can you imagine a Conté, indeed a Mourinho putting up with being lectured by a Man U icon ?

Feel a bit sorry for Nuno (but obviously not his pay off), what's he supposed to do in 10 games with a star striker who's downed tools and seemingly doesn't give a shit?

The football of course wasn't great, but he won 5 out of 10 games in a start that that included City, Chelsea, Arsenal and United. Hasn't even been given half a season or another transfer window to see what he can do.

I think Spurs should get rid of Kane in January and start their rebuild early.

Feels like they are taking Newcastle's place as deluded under-achievers.
