Who would win in a fight between an Eagle sized Lion, or a Lion sized Eagle?
Neither, 'cause they'd both drown and the Haddock would win.6 -
Ok, clutching at straws here, but you was still a boys club in 1905. We was a professional club playing in SE London before Charlton were.Lordflashheart said:

Do we really want to do history?
Apart from Millwall beating Charlton in every game they have ever played ever (which Millwall fans will insist, for obvious reasons, to be the only metric) what else have they got?

Your second team ????????????????????????Cardinal Sin said:
Went to watch Millwall v QPR two seasons ago. Walked into the upper tier to be greeted with a hail of abuse. "What you doing here you Charlton XXXX." With half the stand now looking at me I said "I have come to support my second team" which caused even more abuse. Mates eh?MillwallFan said:
Ha, yeah what I meant was whenever the three SE London clubs (well, two SE London clubs and palace) play each other you’ll always get mates tagging along with each other and going in the opponents end etc. a respectful silence should be kept, but granted, not everyone sticks to the rules 😆ElfsborgAddick said:
You lot keeping quiet in the Charlton end? HmmmmMillwallFan said:
Utter bollocks. I’ve not missed a Millwall v palace game in about 40 odd years and I’ve never known any of them to be in the home ends.Lordflashheart said:Quote from their forum :-
Home stands will be full of Palace, always is
😂😂
I am sure @MillwallFan and @Big_Bad_World can enlighten usYou’ll obviously get a few come along with their Millwall mates and sit on their hands, like we do when we play you lot, but as for the home ends being full of palace, never heard such nonsense in all my life.3 -

Millwall were started by well off factory workers, partially subsidised by the bosses and supported by a rich pub landlord.
Fecking posh boy Tories.
Charlton we’re founded by scrawny scruffy kids without a pot to piss in having a kick about in London’s meanest streets, where their only senior help came from the local community and a fish and chip shop owner spotting the ribs showing through the players shirts and wanting to feed them up.
No surprise Charlton were founded in 1905, the year of the first Russian Revolution.11 -

I always take the view that a football club should be named after the community within which it is located and purports to engage with and represent.MillwallFan said:

Worked in the Old Kent Rd for many years a few years back. Was surrounded by Spanners, always good natured, but sometimes near the mark cockney humour and ribbing.
Remember when they lost and would be arguing among themselves for days.
On the odd occasion we did beat them, use give it back in spades, and even had one or two so hopping mad they said had i not been a mate it would have kicked off.
As for Palace, once again have a couple of very good mates, who think the "Ultras" (Don't make me laugh!) are a complete embarrassment. They say they are a few wannabe herberts gee"d up by overweight past it petty criminal ankle tag wearing tossers.
Hope the game has some comical defending, goalkeeping howlers, shocking finishing and the ref is the Clown T Kettle!1 -

Bermondsey FC perhaps or were Millwall the first Franchise FC?Truth is, as a club, Millwall out grew the island. We was actually quite a big and well supported club then. As the crow flies we didn’t actually move that far. And even as recently as the 80’s and 90’s you’d still get plenty of islanders walking through the pipe to come and watch home games.0 -
Wasn’t the last game on the island against Woolwich Arsenal, well supported by a crowd of 3000?0

Didn't move that far? There's a big f*ck off strip of water there - and we all know that the wrong side of the river is north.MillwallFan said:
