I'm interested in seeing how seriously The Canaries supporters are taking us and The FA Cup now it looks like their Premiership season is over.

no probs - i do agree that season ticket holders should get a grace period to buy their seat - albeit mine is in north upper so i normally watch from west lower for fa cup which makes the experience even worse - but i'd just put it down as a one off, let the club know you're not happy but still get a ticketsarge1g said:

Not sure on what basis this gives you the right to suggest that this makes me "weird". I happen to have occupied the same seat with a season ticket since the West Stand was built and during this time I have become friends with many of the fans seated around me. I have been a season ticket holder for many years previous to this and have followed CAFC for over 50 years which some people may see as "weird". He hasn't promised anything though. Promotion hopes receding may make him take both the cup games more seriously than he would have done if we'd been higher up the tableJamesSeed said:

Would imagine his views on the cup may have changed now with another league fixture added in for January.
I'd hope we go for it. We're not going up kr down, so may as well try in the cup for once3 -

Am I right in saying first Premier League side we have played in a competitive match at the Valley since we got relegated?I would have expected any Charlton fan to be really looking forward to this, seems not to be the case though.0

the prem team thing is irrelevant to me, its knowing i'm going to be watching a full strength Charlton team that matters - even when we played man utd in their pomp i never watched their players, only ours - i actually preferred playing the smaller prem clubs as they were better games and less chance of the away end erupting and condescending - give me a 1-0 win over scunthorpe than a 1-0 defeat to man utd any day5

Unfortunately East Stand Mike you are right the FA Cup is dying on its arse. When I was growing up it was the pinnacle of the season for many. Ipswich twice , Spurs Watford and West Ham before promotion in the eighties were some of if not the biggest games/ crowds we had in the eighties. I still dream that I will see us at Wembley in the FA Cup one day and would prefer that to a season in the Premier League.eaststandmike said:
