    The whole tournament has been incredible. Some seriously quality matches. First time there has been 3 nine darters in a World champs. Standard is unreal. Michael Smith wins the whole thing for me.

    What was happening/said , I only turned on as Price was really animated at someone in the audience who’d said something as he was about to throw his third dart , he was pointing and trying to get someone thrown out

    I know he invites abuse (and in a way he probably thrives off it), but it is getting ridiculous. I'm all for a bit of banter but trying to put the guy off as he throws is out of order. And when he has to stop and say something himself then the security clearly aren't doing the job they're paid to do.

    Yeah I think the players take an awful lot without reacting, that game last night was so, so nip and tuck and for someone to be putting him off as he goes to throw is way beyond the banterous excitement noise that comes from the crowd. 

    Trouble is, Sky love selling it with crowds going radio rental and to get people into that frenzy they were the same page

    Crowd has been especially bad this year. Sky and the PDC have created this monster though, but more should be done to stop booing when players are aiming for doubles.

    Not sure who Gerwyn is aiming his 'cheats' at, but he does like to throw his toys out of the pram after a loss!

    Cheats is the wrong word to use by Pryce but I completely understand why he has the hump. If they didn't throw out whoever was yelling as he was throwing for a double in such a tight game with fag paper margins, thats out of order and gave a crucial advantage to Smith. He gives it and takes it but stuff like that is bullshit

    Yeah agree. Toss a few people out and the antics in the crowd will soon calm down.

    I think Price fucked himself over by complaining though. It unsettled him mid leg, and he never recovered from the distraction.

    not a sport I follow .. but watching the semis this evening, the player's skill and accuracy is almost uncanny .. nerveless (except Wade looks in need of a settler)

    He's generally been in winning positions in sets, so hasn't had to go for the more risky higher scores in order to win, which may have increased his average a bit.
