Reckon that because he knows he's basically immune from prosecution in his home country, he's gone down that road, backed up by the entire nation2 -
By all means slag off Djokovic for his Vaccine stance and the ill timed tennis tournament he organised where so many tennis players caught Covid including himself (1st time he caught it) But Novak cares deeply about many issues and has given millions towards floods in Serbia and donations to the Australian bush fires.
Of course Djokovic has a giant ego, similar to every other great sports stars including Ronaldo,Williams, O'Sullivan, Fury, Hamilton, Bolt etc.2 -

That's not the only point though is it. The other point is that if most people including smokers / the obese / alcohol user / skydivers / Rock climbers / base jumpers / and any others who put unnecessary strain on the NHS, have had the vaccine, why don't the super fit?shine166 said:

Can you pass obesity on through close contact, creating an exponential chain that can ultimately affect someone who is elderly, immuno-compromised or otherwise vulnerable, possibly leading to their hospitalisation and/or death? Is Nolan using his influence as a radio presenter, a famously non-sight based medium, to throw doubt on the legitimacy of healthy eating and encourage others to eat several pounds of lard a day through that influence? It doesn't matter if Novak can boy off Covid with the power of positive thinking and being super fit. What matters is his words and his belief that the fact he's good at hitting things with other things makes him suitable to dish out his widely-reported opinions on medical matters despite them contradicting what actual scientists and doctors say. Obesity is a problem nationally that will put strain on the NHS, but these two things aren't comparable. I simply think they didn't think the plan through well enough to cover that so when those photos came out they must've thought 'ah we fucked that up didn't we'. It's not really true. Of course he is one of the wealthiest Serbian nationals, but he doesn't even live there most of the time. It goes deeper than that. All the Balkan countries seem more susceptible than further north to conspiracy theories of all kinds. This is one reason why Serbia has one of the lowest vax rates in Europe, despite getting off to a fast start, in part because they used some of the Chinese junk. In addition Serbia as a nation has probably the biggest victim-complex in Europe. That's what triggered all the nonsense from his Dad about "Australia" wanting to "stomp on Serbia".
