Henry and Ness playing, so not in the squad for Fleetwood Forest Green

  • Nor Forest Green either.
  • What's happened to our other young goalkeeper Harness?

Doesn't under 21's allow some overage players?

Another reason could be Kone is catching him up in terms of ability. Certainly has impressed me so far.

I'm surprised to not see any of our injured players featuring, the likes of Chuks, Sessegnon and Egbo. A chance to ease them back

Unusual to see that these days. JFC played a few games IIRC but not many others

So how do the fringe senior players get and stay match fit, even more so if coming back from injury? Specially arranged games behind closed doors?

Col Utd 1-0 but that is the most blatant foul I think I have ever seen

First goal was a foul but we've been sloppy all game, haven't created many clear cut chances despite numerous crosses and Col U deserve the lead on chances created.....

....and as I type Kanu scores

    Pizza cup and sub appearances.

Not saying it's right but that seems to be the way for most clubs now.

I’ve just turned I’ve just put this on - we don’t look quite as fluid as usual though I turned on just as it went 2-0

Nice finish from Kanu tbf after a bit of pressure but we look a bit disjointed

Lovely work by Camara and Kanu, who hits the bar.

There has been some very good wing work in the last 30m followed by poor crosses

2-2 Camara with great equaliser on the volley.
Fair result in the end. We really only started playing when we were 2 behind. Henry in particular.
  • So many times we got behind them but couldn't pick out a red shirt.

    Fair result
  • Thought we were pretty sloppy in the first half but picked it up more after the break.

Once again, Zak Mitchell the stand out player for us.

Unsure about their 2nd goal but otherwise immaculate.

Lovely left-footed volley from the corner for the equaliser by Kamara.
I only watched the game from when we were 2-1 down, but it was all Charlton after that. Campbell looked very good on the ball.

Sounds like they fit the criteria to play for the first team

I went and the Colchester blocking, plus a great display from their keeper earned them a point. Their first goal was a foul, but I don’t blame their number nine for being competitive, it is down to the referee those ones.
I thought we played well but for the two goals conceded, and Ladapo is yet another good player coming through. Aaron Henry really very good again, might have scored from his free kick which was definitely going in but a good save.
Saw Steve Gallen there sitting alongside Mr Sandgaard’s son. At least he looked like the son to me.
    Enjoyable game.
