We proved in 2017/18 and almost again in 2020/21 that you really don’t have to be a good team to break into the top 6 in this league. I still think we’re only a centre back and a striker away from that, despite how rubbish we usually are.20

Never been MacGillivray's greatest fan but credit where credit us due, he had a really good game today and made a number of good saves that kept us in the game.
Inniss and Lavelle trying to pass out from the back is one of those things that just has you scratching your head at whoever thought that would be a good idea.
As Croydon says above, don't be fooled by a good last 10 minutes. We should have been long buried by then.
But at least this team has one thing. Resilience. That's another game where we have kept playing to the end and managed to scrape a result when it looked unlikely.

Going 4-2 up in the fourth minute of injury time and drawing, now that's what I call criminal.1 -
what a what an incredible and very strange game not sure how you can describe it .. you have to give Burton credit was not pretty but their direct , bullying pressing and set plays we never to grip with the whole game younger players struggled , never seen Inniss bulled like the number 14 did today they made very difficult for us . They never let midfield in the in the game by bypassing it most of the game .. but then two very goals out of nothing from Kirk we could not believe it and we just had to get to HT .. unfortunately a poor free kick was given incorrectly when SS was fouled then win the ball and Oshilaja headed in with Dobson really needing to do better . Second goal was just a mess , third goal not sure what Fraser left the ball for but really should be dealing with it but what a strike …. we looked dead and buried as BG said looked like we had given everything but then out of nothing Raki scores .. and then Raki only has to pass to CBT for a tap in and keeper making a great save from Payne in injury time we could have snatched it .. did we deserve it no …. 3-3 is a point gained

I’m a glass half full guy and what with the injuries we have sustained to our defence I’d say we are doing alright. Wasn’t worried at 3-2 knowing we have game changers on the bench and I was proved right.5

That was our worst result of the season IMO3

Lavelle is so pants, don’t like to verbal players but he can’t pass, can’t run, isn’t very strong, not good in the air. List goes on, Jason Pearce was far better and a lot of us were critical of Pearcey towards the end.Stockley 2 goals in 18 league games so far, 1 of which being a penalty. Be very lucky if he hits 10 in 46 at this rate! 20 goal a season striker my arseI would honestly make the best of a bad situation and stick him as a centre back instead of Lavelle, at least he will win some aerial duals and won’t waste a spot further up the pitch4

Can't really be arsed anymore.
I know I am alone with my views re Aneke & I accept that. What I don't accept is that CBT can't start a game. He used to & he only missed a couple of games through injury. If he is now fully fit he should be back to where he was at the start of the season.....starting games, not coming on for 15/20 mins. And dont say he's more effective coming off the bench as teams are tiring then.......because I dont remember Giggs, Kanchelsis, Ronaldo in their prime not starting games due to this. Its bollox.Start with your best players.
Today was unfortunate due to us missing 3 of our usual back 5. Even our GK gets injured in the warm up !
It's all been said before. We shouldn't have started the season with no left back. We shouldn't be playing Chin there. We should have effective back up to Stockley THAT CAN START.
But I didnt expect much at the start of the season & nothings changed. We are still is a slightly false position & if we dont beat Port Vale next week we will be mid table & amongst the also rans like Fleetwood & Cambridge.

This was a shocking performance papering over wider cracks than my a***.1 -
Very disappointing to see a VERY prominent fan urinate on somebody's property after the game.1

I don't know anything about the match, but what I do know is that Woolocott's injury is phoney, like Sterling's and Madison's.0

Five wins in 18 league games. Big questions for Garner now.3

Really poor defence today. I would start Deji next game I cant see him being any worse than Lavelle today. How many times did he give the ball away trying to pass to someone ?0
-
I’m not usually one to criticise players but Sam Lavelle is stealing a living with us. I’d sooner start Deji than him, bloke is a donkey.1
