Messi’s good but has he ever played against St Mirren’s midfield general Keanu Baccus?

God this game is shite!!0

Was never gonna be a classic. Australia have to stay in the game as long as possible. Keep LM quiet and they’ve got a chance.1

Sigh0

He is all they’ve got. But he is ridiculous.0

Lovely little finish to be fair1

Argentina aren't winning this world cup.

Think it’ll take a dodgy decision for them to beat the DutchSELR_addicks said:Argentina aren't winning this world cup.0 -

Game craft , will see them win it …. You heard it here first and last1

Messi's stats for Argentina aren't as good as you'd imagine. 94 goals, but only 50 of them were in competitive matches.
50 in 118 competitive matches compares pretty poorly with CR7's 98 in 142.
9 goals in World Cups is a low return too, considering the number of games he's played (22).0 -
Matt Ryan out stumped0

Another reason why pony footballers should play Garnerball0

Matt McGRyan.0

Utter madness with too much Jeopardy by Ryan to attempt to dribble pass two players.0
-
Dreadful game so far. Both keepers look dodgy with the ball at their feet.0
-
Their best and probably only chance of scoring a goal and the Aussies send in two shocking free kicks from decent positions.0

Personally, I suspect the Dutch could end up going far by going under the radar. One of Netherlands or Argentina is guaranteed semi final at least. Neither have been very good so far and both had a relatively easy group (particularly Netherlands - being the number 2 seed in Qatar’s group was a virtual bye), a kind round of 16 draw and, weirdly, not a bad quarter final draw, because neither of them are all that.North Lower Neil said:Think Netherlands beat them.
But they both have the World Cup pedigree, so either of them could turn it up a notch in the later stages. There were a lot of comments about ‘lucky draw’ when England progressed in the last two tournaments. I’d be interested to see if those same comments come up if the Dutch or the Argentinians end up winning it.1 -
Anyone else give the TV a Nescafé wave when the Aussie ex scum player appeared on screen1

Yeah yeah, we saw this in the earlier game, we know what'll happen next0
