I’ve seen some grim times [and some great ones too under Curbs] . Not least when we had to suffer Selhurst all those years back.
My cynicism is goes back to the time when Parker was sold and Curbs not supported - leaving Dowie to come in, from which time our long decline started.
We deserve better than what this clown is serving up and I can see us sinking further.
I will not support this club until the ownership is sorted and that means RD/TS both gone and hopefully a sensible owner who will build the club up again.
Div 2 or worse looms unless the club is sold soon.Just because I don’t like those involved, doesn’t mean I stop supporting Charlton.
My team is Charlton and always will be, but I will stay away until the ownership is sorted for the better.
I expect a few might even agree with me - look at the attendances at the Valley.
They are heading south, too.3 -

I have seen lots of crap football since I started my love affair with this club in 1977. I attended all the Selhurst and Upton Park games.swordfish said:

What I struggle with is when supporters stay away because the football's crap. I don't go now, but we were poor when I first started going and I'd go through thin and thin. It made the good times, few though there have been, all the more special I realize times change and that the reason the football is crap comes from the leadership, or lack of it, at the top, but it's my team. I"m not following anyone else!
I will not support TS because he is killing the club.
I will start going again when we hopefully get a sensible

Not true - I had a season ticket in the Lower West until last season and i have been to 5 games this year. I was also streaming live away games until a few weeks back.ShootersHillGuru said:

True and look at the playing squad and the now new interim manager.Hartleypete said:Just 4 points of relegation positions.
Hayes’ appointment is a desperate move - he is unqualified, inexperienced, zero gravitas and totally unable to even look a convincing appointment. I might [and I really hope] that I am wrong, but this guy has no chance. We need leadership and what we have is a total novice. Even a seasoned old warhorse like Warnock would struggle with this shitshow.
Pinning our hopes on young kids, a totally risky managerial appointment and we now hear that TS may be seeking some new “investors” in to the club as he wants to stay involved! RD owns the ground, so he also looms large in the background.
Next on the playing side, it’s likely to get worse. Leaburn could be sold and Jes could be recalled - the players coming into the team now are simply nowhere near good enough. We were crap at the start of the season and we are much worse now, with no hope we will do anything in the window.
Whichever way I look at this, its a downward spiral and we could even drop down this season0 -
Find it strange that people supported boycotting the club under RD but are digging someone out for saying they will not go to games until TS sells.4

Great, another experiment! Only interested in the football side, does that mean not interested in the stadium or the training groundchev said:1 -

It’s a bit confusing what this would mean for our academy, our young players would ether become part of the agency or be competing against it.MarcusH26 said:Todds_right_hook said:

And football loses the plot once again.
Know it was said that afew people were interested in Charlton but I believe some reporters are trying to piss in our boots as well0 -
Everyone saying ‘no thanks’, ‘not for me’ etc - we have no say in who buys us. Which is why as many of us as possible should try to get to tomorrows online CAST meeting, so we can get our views across as CAST have TS’s ear at the moment. Hopefully if it’s made clear fans would be unhappy about supporting this model - it will become public knowledge for all potential purchasers to see.RonnieMoore said:2 -
And would still mean nothing. Sandgaard will sell to whoever he thinks offers him HIS best deal. What supporters or CAST think or want is totally irrelevant.Mrkinski said:

If he shows up in the first place.1 -
Thankfully that article is written by Alan Nixon, who seems utterly incapable of an arse/elbow distinction.
The fact that the kind of agency ownership described is against EFL rules also makes me confident it couldn't happen.3 -

A very good point. Could well spell the end of the academy which is one of the few functioning parts of the club.Shrew said:

Don't want to be owned by an agency, would be a disaster imo.0 -

Totally agree that PV and a group he’s associated with would probably find the most support within the fan base but it doesn’t really mean anything. Whoever offers Sandgaard the most money or most money with some future involvement included will be his chosen way out. Sandgaard couldn’t give two figs about reconnecting The Valley and Sparrows Lane with CAFC. He won’t get a penny out of that aspect of any deal. As much as I support the CAST getting their ducks in a row with a consensus of fans opinion I’m really sorry to say it means diddly squat. We are unfortunately powerless onlookers.4 -
I don’t think that’s true. As we know with TS, ego is his main driver. More important, anyone buying the club will be interested in how fans react to them because ticket revenue is key, especially in L1. That doesn’t translate into the fans having a vote, but it does mean they can influence the outcome.ShootersHillGuru said:J BLOCK said:I hope those in attendance Thursday can be clear on the preference for Varneys group vs this network mob

How does that influence the seller though ? If TS were to sell up with no future involvement attached he won’t give a toss what the fans want or think. A new buyer no matter what their strategy will think they will make it work and that fans will come when they see it working.Airman Brown said:
