The last 20 mins the fans were sensational. With all that has been going on you sometimes forget just how loud and brilliant our support can be. I really hope we can get that kind of atmosfear back into our league games and that this is the first step to getting our great club back on track.

At the end of the day - we all love Charlton Athletic Football Club - don’t we - and this evening we have beaten a club who - when you look back at the history - even though they are in the Prem - are no marks compared to what we can be - BUT tonight I have an inner glow - watching those pens … 😀😀😀😀30

Everyone really left it all out there tonight, but I’ve got to say special mention goes out to Chin for me - he’s young, playing out of his favoured position, and is finding out how tough the world of professional football is both on a personal and team level - but to go out and not crumble against some of the best attacking play he will come up against is a credit to him.

Fuck me that was exciting. Watched on a stream that fizzled in and out. Missed a couple of penalties but it held firm for the last couple.Have to admit I got overwhelmed when Lavelle scored and shed a few tears.... this is what football is all about. Bastards, but glorious bastards.16

Well that was absolutely ridiculous.
Was a bit gutted to see Brighton on the west upper, which is where I usually sit, but... Was good for the atmosphere.
Everyone worked their nuts off. Got away with a few, but deserved a bit of luck.

Been very critical of all things Charlton of late, very down. But tonight, you have lifted my spirits and reignited my love for Charlton. Didn’t go but watched on a stream and could not be more proud of that performance. Blood and guts. Actually looking forward to the Peterborough match on BD.
