Bellingham does look a natural athlete, the way he seems to effortlessly slide around the pitch, so you'd hope he isn't putting too much strain on his body unlike players like Owen who rely on express pace, and can be vulnerable to hamstring injuries.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has announced that Bellingham has decided to join Real Madrid this summer and a deal is pretty close.

They're hoovering up some real potential in midfield - Tchouameni, Camavinga and now maybe Bellingham.  Valverde is only 24 still too.

Unless he's a replacement for Camavinga...

We could offer Charlie Kirk as a straight swap.

Shame really as would love to see him in prem especially playing with other England players, perhaps city being the best place. Madrid fans can be arseholes and the Spanish league is barely an improvement on the German.

They are a known fickle fanbase so as long as it doesn’t go pear shaped early, he could be the cornerstone of that Madrid team for a decade.

Completely agree with you on all your points except City being the best place. With them about to win a 5th title in 6 years i think it's probably a good thing for the rest of the league that he isn't going there.

Unbelievable how at ease he looked at the World Cup. Similar to pogba in his physical strength and stature whilst having remarkable technical ability.

Looks like he's off to Real Madrid, contract until 2029

Big step in his career, especially given how Sancho has struggled since leaving Dortmund

Although reckon thats where the similarities will end between the two

Maybe we should change the title from 30 million , to 130 million!

In reality he was too scared to step on to the pitch with Albie Morgan on it

Just over 2 years later he scored the winner against us for their first team.

    So from that list...

Maynard-Brewer | Zemura (ITA) | Wiredu | Morgan | Abraham | Dempsey (SCO) are still in League Football
Boyd-Munce (SCO) | Redmond (ROI) | Hurst | Stanley | Bellingham (ESP) are still in League Football for Birmingham

Speaks volumes that even though he was injured and has a lot on his plate with the upcoming move that he still wanted to link up with the England team at St George’s Park for his rehabilitation, even though he won’t be playing in the games.

Madrid have an embarrassment of riches in the middle of the park for the next decade if they all stay and live up to potential. Bellingham, Camavinga, Tchouameni and Valverde, who is the oldest of the 4 at 24! And Camavinga and Valverde are adept at left back and right wing respectively, so all 4 can play together. Combine that with Vini Jr and a new striker and Man City will find retaining the Champions League very tough next season

Never thought Real Madrid would post a tweet featuring The Valley.

Imagine if they add Mbappe to that team in a year or two as well...

    maybe even this summer
  • Carrying Real Madrid. Top scorer with 4 goals in 3 games, leading them to 3 wins, all away from home as the Bernabeu finishes it's renovation.

Looks an absolute bargain considering that his fee before add ons was 25m less than Caicedo!

You wonder if he will move further up the pitch for England?

Some combination of Kane, Saka, Foden and Bellingham needs to be optimised for me. And if we can do that in the right formation we are away.
