What a couple pass from Verstappen on Leclerc and Magnusson0
-
And thats the Red Bull 1-2 tied up in 15 laps...
and thats me clicking off.
Absolute yawn fest.

Verstappen was passing cars using DRS without using his own DRS. What is the point? you may as well let the Red Bulls start last and second last on the grid and they'll still finish 1-2.

George Russell having a good race0
-
Verstappen is going to pit and come out still in the lead isnt he!!0
-
Just find this track so drab. After watching Formula E make Monaco look fun yesterday and BTCC at Brands earlier , this is just a bit of a snore. Fully expect Max to win1
-
Max has already won... He'll pit on the last lap0
-
Yay... We even got some token fighting between the Red Bulls0
-
Fuck me save us all some time and hand him the title now, F1 needs a rethink on the rules again, how a team can be this much faster at any circuit in any conditions is just shit for the sport5
-
Perez the only one defending from Max. The rest don’t bother. Even Alonso. (Remember when he fought Hamilton when in an Alpine, for laps on end?).
I know the Red Bull is fast but they it’s like they are pleasuring him.

The only thing that can save this season, is the European weather when we start getting to the circuits here in a few weeks, as there needs to be some chaos thrown into the races... However saying that Verstappen started P9 today, and its been a piece of piss for him.
No doubt the near endless rain we've had these last few months, will disappear for the summer the moment we get to Imola!!0 -
Thank fuck thats over!! - Great drive from Russell, and then Hamilton in the second phase of the race to recover from yesterday.0
-
Was better than Baku but was a pretty dull race overall the circuit is crap0

From the constant tire management, through the weird stretched limo things carrying the drivers to the podium at the end, to the fake yachts, everything was shit about that race.
Monaco minus any semblance of class.3 -
Missing out the bit where they added an engine freeze just as Honda became the best engine manufacturer1
-
The track was hard to drive so it is a credit to all the drivers that there were no yellows, but that spoiled the race. I don't think Verstappen outdrove Perez, they were on different strategies and the mediums seemed to work better when the car was lighter.0

That way if only one team nailed the new regs the first year, other teams could at least attempt to bridge that gap.
Instead if you fucked up the first year, you're pretty screwed for the next few
Even if Aston Martin have managed to make gains
Doesnt help that the close racing from the start of last year has been lost as well because of the ride height ruling that came in.0 -
Painful to watch normally competitive drivers not even bother to defend a single corner if a Red Bull is approaching them.2

The big one for me is what on earth has happened to McLaren? Lando must be looking for ways out at this point, any new Technical Director isn't going to be able to have a major major impact on next year's car either.
Maybe Seidl saw the writing on the wall and decided to jump to Sauber/Audi because there would be a better chance of them nailing the 2026 regs.1 -

I'm not saying it could be foreseen, but these new regs have turned into an own goal for the sport. So many fans were re-enthused by the Hamilton/Verstappen battle but the regs have just hit a huge reset button and now Red Bull are the new Mercedes. Much as I loathe them, you can't hold it against Red Bull that they did a better job than anyone else, but hopefully the others find a way to close the gap soon. This season is already a write off though and Perez is not going to offer Max the same level of challenge that Rosberg managed to take to Lewis.
The two bits of sport I can just about find time to "enjoy" most weeks are Charlton and F1, but they've both been pretty lacklustre recently, which is probably why I find myself getting onto the NHL play-offs a bit more.4 -
Menu at Miami (genuine).
Sport for all...

What in the wide world of fuckery is a frizzled potato?3

Only one step up from Lidl, surely.1 -

The question is how long will casual fans and new fans continue to watch before they get bored of seeing RB winning every race and watching 1-2 processions.0 -
I'm assuming that menu is from the Paddock Club or one of the high end hospitality areas. Probably full of CEOs that would just throw that on expenses.1

"Can i have a salad and some nachos please".
Yes sir, that's £418 please.

Those prices are just obscene. Anyone who pays those prices, on principle alone, are crazy!0
-
While the prices are still crazy, it's worth noting that they are for 4 people.3
