Out of order. What kind of attitude is that for a Prem player to have, not wanting to go for big money, doesn't he realise we need the cash.

He's saying the same sort of things Darren Bent said when we were relegated. He's there now and it's all talk at the moment. He's not going to request a transfer. If he gets an offer he still might go.

You'd have thumped him if he slagged off Colin Todd?

Very good. Andy Todd is over in Perth now playing for the Perth Glory in the A-League, if he twats someone over here let's pray is that little bastard Kevin Muscat.

Muzzy Izzet was released way before we were near the EPL. And we had Paul Linger at the time.

I can't find any record of Muzzy being at Charlton - Kemal Izzet was released by Charlton in 2001, so we were a Prem side.

He's also played more than 300 games for Colchester now, including 2 seasons in the CCC.

If Lukey goes to Hull, he'll have turned into a typical journeyman footballer, 4 clubs in just over 3 years - even Marcus Bent can barely compete with that!!

would be a very bad move for Luke.

Luke Young is way too good for Hull and there is no chance of Villa wanting to get rid of him. 1st choice right back, and they even prefer him at left back to Nicky Shorey.

Can't believe Turner is getting linked with the likes of Liverpool. He got found out second half of last season, and Defoe ran rings round him the other night.

Good player positionally, dominant in the air ....... but quick feet is not any attribute of his.
Put him beside a quick sweeper type CB, and I'm sure he'd look good.
  • Have him in my FF team so hoping he moves somewhere with a "safer" defence ....

SSN reporting Sunderland close to signing Turner.

    No mention of fee.

Just hope the sell on still applies.

Can you imagine though Charlton ringing Hull and demanding to know the transfer fee and then demanding the cheque in the post immediately, as we want to go shopping.

On the subject of youth players breaking through, I think the only slight positive about being down in L1 is that we will see more of our younger players used (wagstaff, stav, mambo etc) where as they wouldnt have had a look in 3 years ago.

more likely to be not selling rather than shopping unless the TO happens soon.
