    Spoke to the umpires at close of play and they do not intend to make an adverse pitch report, so there won't be any points deduction.

    A mad day's cricket... but the pitch will ease and ease as the match goes on, I think. We need to bowl Middx out for under 250 and we should then win.

    Don't forget I told you we would beat Drearyshire last week when you were all despairing!
