Its also ironic as weren't Peterborough saying during the week that JCH should accept Charlton's offer
As it was better than what he'd get anywhere else?5 -
If, the rumours are true, and he is looking for 15k, it’s not worth it. That’s an absolute joke for League One.7

Refreshing not sell the player for the sake of it.. or just to bring money in!MarcusH26 said:0 -
Good.. Greedy git!ForeverAddickted said:8 -
Leave the offer on the table and go look elsewhere in the meantime. If JCH is willing to wait to the summer in the belief he can get more elsewhere then let him. There’s no point us burning the bridge though in case we decide we can’t find an alternative and want to go back later in the window.3

Fuck the deal off greedy prick15

Sounds unlikely JCH is happening
no surprise if he asking for 15k and we are offering 8/9 k1 -
Gutting news about JCH, if we had him today we would have scored more undoubtedly as we were missing a poacher and physical presence at times.
Let's see what we now do with that money.
Imagine CBT is definitely gone by the sounds of things. Will miss him certainly, but the main man is May and we need to think of how to best utilise him4 -

Today showed in spades how much CBT adds to our teams, especially that first half.12 -

Derby will wish they put the bid in on Sunday when Peterboro beat them to second place by a point.1
-
2nd bid was 300k apparently and they’re likely to go again, think we can probably get 400k which wouldn’t be awful business if the change to a back 3 is permanent then CBT is a square peg in a round hole7
-
£250k feels like a lowball from Derby, something closer to £400k and I expect it will happen.2
-
CBT off, T Campbell not very good. Are we going to be the new "wingless wonders" and just play 6 in midfield instead.
I'd also bin the JCH deal, like I said earlier this week. If we had done that we might have had another striker to play today.

Jch got 28 (twenty-eight) goals last season, CBT has 8 so far. I think people are judging transfers using Alfie May as a barometer... we had cheltenhams trousers downAthletico Charlton said:If we sold CBT for.anything close to £250K then the £500K for an older JCH looks way over the top to me.0 -
They want 400-500k for him.. and won’t sell for any less5

Saying that, i want him to sign, but if he is asking for 15k pw, he is taking the piss and i hope we move on3
-
The three new midfielders look good and with a new centre half in the door, just need two full backs, centre forward and winger for now.2
-
Isn't it terrible that we need EIGHT new players in the January window just to sort this mess out!25

Ferguson's quote that "Charlton are way off on personal terms at the moment." Should continue with, "but they are way closer than we could get."
Move on, we need strength but also mobility and energy. Humphrys would suit us.12 -
Did Bristol Rovers offer 15K a week (or anywhere even remotely close to that?) when he accepted personal terms with them on deadline day in the summer then? I would majorly doubt it. So why the change in 4 months? He hasn't exactly set the world alight in the preceeding months to justify wanting so much more all of a sudden has he.
He obviously just doesn't want to come here IMO so is massively inflating his wage demands to put us off - maybe him or his agent has been quietly tapped up by another club somewhere to hold on til the summer or something dodgy like that, otherwise I don't know why he doesn't just flat out admit he has no interest in coming so all parties can move on and stop wasting each others time - its all very suspect to me.2 -
Who’s to say he hasn’t been told by a club that they’ll give him £10k a week and £150k signing on fee in the summer.Manic_mania said:Did Bristol Rovers offer 15K a week (or anywhere even remotely close to that?) when he accepted personal terms with them on deadline day in the summer then?
