Didn't they thrash us in the home leg by a bigger margin?

Am sure Man City are delighted to see Fiorini playing for our U21s lol!

More minutes for Taylor and Isted too

Yeah especially those coming back from injury - At least Taylor wont be quite so rusty from match sharpness if he gets thrown back in going forward for example.
  • Nice to see an U21 team with U21s in it, and returning senior pros, rather than U18s. Plenty of first team experience in that side.

I think he can stay on loan...but come back and play in the U21s.

Man City won't mind Fiorini getting a run out with the 21s.

He's here to get '90 minutes-fit' and sharp.
And ultimately to prove his match fitness.

Only one way to do that - play games.
Any competitive games, as many as his broken body can cope with.

Much stronger side as others have said.

Assume that they have OKed it with Man City over Fiorini.  Should be low pressure game for him to get 30 or 45 minutes.

Hope Campbell gets his mojo back too.  That's a speedy front three for Fiorini to pick a pass or two too.

Isted in goal is also an interesting one. Again he needs minutes but where is Ward?

Looking forward to watching this one.

McGrandles not involved so starting on Saturday : - )

11 mins and we're well on top so far.

Swans had a couple of corners but nothing else.

Taylor and Fiorini looking very comfortable and controlling game

Good to see Williams on the bench, think he has been injured much of the season.  Maybe same with Huke too?

Taylor bossing midfield. Fiorini making no impact so far.
Which is a shame as we have Coventry and Dobbo in Taylor's position, but no proper 10 in Fiorini's

    20 mins

    Still one nil.

    Isted made one comfortable save.

We're pressing well and the better side.

Taylor winning the ball in midfield  and passing well.

Why is Toby Bower not in the squad? I thought he would be coming through better than he has.

Loads have been tried out, I wonder what is on the horizon for Jason Adigun who has been consistently good whenever I’ve seen him play. At the very least on a par with Karoy Anderson.

TC does well to cut inside and curl a shot against the post.

Game been a bit flat last 15 minutes

I saw him for the U18s 3 years ago and he stood out , am surprised he's yet to make his first team debut when most of the side from that year have.

At the moment I would say the only one on the field who would be challenging for a first team place is Taylor.

39' Adigan misses a very good chance.

Need to take our chances  before Taylor and Fiorini go off.

    45' Rylah shot well saved.

Corner headed out, 2nd corner out for our throw

From what I've seen, it looks a very one sided match, but our finishing isn't great, with the trees behind the goal taking a pummelling.

Also, neither Campbell nor Rylah are hood enough to be first team starters. As they are the only wingers on the books we are stuck with 352 or a diamond shape for the foreseeable (but we don't have a good enogh 10 for either).

    48'

TC does really well to drive into the box but shoots just wide.

Taylor and Fiorini still on but Elerewe and Chin subbed of for Bakin and A N Other at HT

    Still 1 - 0

Cameraman’s zoom must be broken. Surely.

We need trees at the other end as well
