New England shirt 2024 & St George’s scandal

IMO this is one of the best England shirts in years.
But there’s a few upset snowflakes over the artistic license used for incorporating blues and purples in the St George’s cross on the collar… personally I think it’s more scandalous that it’ll cost £85 minimum for an adult size.

It's a dumb thing to mess with tbh, there's enough other details etc on the rest of the kits to not have to decide to fuck with the flag.
You may call them snowflakes, but imagine the uproar in very patriotic countries like the US and France, if they added a flag with different colours onto the jersey39 -
I don't understand why the England shirt is Blue and White.
The flag of St. George is Red and White.
Scotland have Blue in their national shirt.
Wales have Red in their national shirt
Ireland have Green in their national shirt.
Why do we have Blue in ours?

Definitely one of my favourite England tops in a long time. Personally, not particularly fussed about the flag. Not sure why people get so wound up about such little things14

Different badge colours are a bit less of an issue to the colours of the actual flag being messed with. It looks crap anyway with the purples and bluesshine166 said:

Couldn't care less about the flag issue. Don't remember anyone whinging about the red missing from the Union Jack in 2012:
People need to stop worrying about minor changes to things that are apparently 'ruining this once great nation', like a small logo on a football top you can choose not to buy, and think about the things (and people) who are really screwing the country.31 -
Completely different situation. We aren't permanently changing the flag of the country. I agree I think it's a bit silly but doesn't bother me even slightly enough to get irate about it. Have the manufacturers said it’s the flag, or is it just an unnecessary decorative feature that people are assuming is the flag? I don’t see how it can be the flag if it’s not red and white.1

It's no longer really representative of the George Cross other than the shape. As people say there are much bigger things to worry about in the world but it's just a weird and unnecessary thing to mess around with.1

If it's not in the correct colour then it isn't the Cross of St George, can't pretend otherwise.The cost of the shirt is outrageous.
