Catchment area for Fox Under the Hill is pretty big. If they pitch it right, reckon they'd do well0

I'm near the royal oak in Bexleyheath, they cut their opening hours and seemed to cut BT/TNT sports aswell. Think it may only be a matter of time.0

The new(ish) micropub in Mottingham is pretty poor! They had one cask beer on, two lagers and cans of stout.
It's relatively close to me, i'm underwhelmed.1 -

Sad to hear. I lived around the corner from the Polly circa 20 years ago and went in there occasionally. Len was the licensee at the time; top, top man. Pub was immaculate and so was the garden. A really nice local. Only one pub left in our village The Bell, top of the range Doooombar! and very few opening hours. 2-6pm on the last Bank Holiday, not sure their hearts are in it. But there's a cracking pub in the next village, Coldred. The Carpenters with cask beer at £3.40 a pint if you don't mind stepping back in time.

Spent many an evening in there. Yeh, it's a shame about The Bell. They have that lovely village green, a big kitchen but they just don't want to realise the potential.

Thats another one round the corner which has since shut down, think it was the woodman years back but recently existed as a place for hire called celebrations (still has the sign up) but since been boarded up and expect not long until its flats. I couldnt be bothered to google what it was called so woodman is a guess and could be wrong.
