    Again they're talking our athlete up hugely in the 400m final, and she's way behind! 

    Is it written into the contracts that they have to declare us as medal winners before anything has happened?

    I think we missed a trick not going to the 20 points. I knew the Netherlands did and only got bronze but it seems mad not to go for it early on & then just pick up a few 1's & 2's in the sprints. 
    The Italians timed their break really cleverly, in that they were half a lap up for one of the sprints so got the 5 points for that without having to break a sweat, and then joined the back of the race not long after to get the 20 points.

    At her 4th time of trying Kat JT has a medal at an Olympics. Excellent Silver but Nafi Thiam is a 3 time Gold Olympic champion in the Heptathlon. The nearest thing to a weak event for Thiam was the 800m !
