Most off the ground will be full of YouTubers by the sounds of it.LTKapal said:Going to be a lot of football tourists so im not expecting a great atmo sadly. Great to see the place filled though3 -
Judging by the most expensive seats like middle blocks of the AC stand being sold out I can see there being more than a few tourists
Be nice to win and 5% of them come back again

Short term gain but in reality the crowd will be what you saw this afternoon between now and the end of this seasonsuperclive said:they said today on the tanoy that it's looking life a full valley.. really?? it's been 4 5 years since this wonderfully place was full. It’s just an inflated fiver a ticket a game0 -
I tried to book my normal seat in the north upper G block and someone had taken it. Only a handful of seats left.
I know a couple of Arsenal fans that have got tickets in the AC stand too.

Last time we played them was February 1982 so it will be a popular game for those who only go to the Valley one or twice a season, just for the novelty.2

I booked my tickets tonight very few pairs of seats together left in the whole ground. I can easily see it doing 22k .

Hope not. Already too many people who think that the first half kicks off at 3.10, finishes at 3.40 & restarts around 4.10pm.
It also amazes me that they dont seem to care about the game but have to stop on the stairs when there is an attack commencing to watch the action.
If you dont care enough that you have to get your pie & pint at 3.40 then ffs piss off & don't block the view of those wanting to watch the match.
Fucking plastics.39 -
Blows my mind people will moan that others want to watch our football club. Who cares if it’s their first game? Everyone has to start some time.29

Find this a bit weird. I get it if you've only just got into football/only like Wrexham because of the documentary, but why do people who already support other teams care?charlton_hero said:I tried to book my normal seat in the north upper G block and someone had taken it. Ignore Golfie. He’s officially the most miserable bugger that ever joined CL . We’re used to it.fenaddick said:Blows my mind people will moan that others want to watch our football club. Who cares if it’s their first game? Everyone has to start some time.5 -
That's the point. You go to a football match the watch the match. Not to spend a third of it on the concourse supping a pint. If you want a drink stay in the fucking pubfenaddick said:Blows my mind people will moan that others want to watch our football club. Who cares if it’s their first game? Lost count the amount of times today that I had to let people in or out of my row whilst the match was going on. Not to mention the amount of people ambling up the stairs who then stop right in front of me blocking my view.
But no need to worry about me. I've got my ticket for next week but then I'm out.13 -
To be fair, that includes every ref we've ever hadgolfaddick said:Hope not. Already too many people who think that the first half kicks off at 3.10, finishes at 3.40 & restarts around 4.10pm.

Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy todays match which had the same size crowd we’ve had all season, nothing to do with next week though5 -

Why come to the Wrexham game, and then give up on the rest of the season?0 -
My mate who is Arsenal, wants to go Wrexham away with me, it's bonkers.Croydon said:

My little online gaming bunch have also been talking about the game and saying how big it is etc. It's mental.

At the Pompey friendly in pre season there was a ‘fan’ sat behind me probably late 30s. Was clearly a lapsed fan as he kept talking about the Curbishley era etc.
His mate asked him if he’ll come at any point during the season and he just said “I’m going to try and do Wrexham home and away but that’s probably it”
Hopefully Wrexham away is one ticket per person and no plastics can go.6 -
A week ago I was told they were expecting over 20k there so it sounds like it should be a good one0

For attention. This is the same golfie who said he was done with Charlton if Alfie May was sold. Here he still is.Mendonca In Asdas said:

Tbf, they're not there to watch our football club are they. The home stands are going to have loads of people in who want Wrexham to win.fenaddick said:Blows my mind people will moan that others want to watch our football club. Who cares if it’s their first game? Everyone has to start some time.
What happens if/when Wrexham score and people celebrate in the covered end?

To be fair, I love a packed out Valley with a great atmosphere to match, nothing better when it drives us on to 3 points.
However, being totally honest I am not looking forward to the experience next week. I sit right in and amongst the comps of the player families and so many do not sit in their right seats, many sit in season ticket holder seats, and lots come streaming out after kick off and make the actual experience far less enjoyable. It’s actually much nicer when there are fewer player family comps.
It’s been like it for a while and really the club need to make sure they sit in their allocated seats and take into consideration there are full paying fans who want to watch the game and whose experience is not always positive because of some people’s attitudes and behaviours.
Anyway, it’s not just Golfie who can moan about things. Having a fuller capacity is great and I really hope it helps the team. Just sometimes there are negatives for fans who know their experience isn’t going to be as enjoyable. Nothing wrong in expressing that.26 -
I’d be surprised if there are actual adults there celebrating if Wrexham score. There might be some kids and that’s fine by me too. I understand being concerned about the atmosphere etc. but personally it’d make me sing louder and increase the atmosphere if I could make it. I’d want to do everything I could to make it enjoyable and so people came back3

You're fine with people celebrating the opposition goals in our end? I'm sorry but that is total fucking madness.fenaddick said:I’d be surprised if there are actual adults there celebrating if Wrexham score. There might be some kids and that’s fine by me too. If a 6 year old kid is excited then who does that do harm to? I don’t actually think it’ll happen either for what it’s worth. I’ve seen no reports from any clubs of supposed Wrexham fans celebrating their goals in home ends, I think it’s just a hypothetical thing for people to moan aboutCroydon said:

Orient had just under 9k for their game with them a few weeks ago. Not quite capacity but a decent boost over their usual gate. Id be surprised if we get over 26k, but won't be complaining if its close.
Due to commitments in the morning I won't be able to get to my season ticket seat in the AC stand until just after kick off, guaranteed some c*nt will be sitting in it already who Ill have to turf out.0 -

I've already bought my ticket (part of the tripple bundle)
I've seen enough to know we ain't getting out of this league this season
Sold our top goalscorer & having given it 12 games I've seen enough to know that was a stupid decision.
But probably the biggest reason is I've had multiple eye surgeries over the past 10 years which has left my vision not great under lights. Come November we will be playing under floodlights which means I cant see so well.
