He thinks he is a better manger than he really is….poor subs today….had no clue about the formation at the end….would have left Taylor on and pulled of Docherty. Going nowhere with him TBH5

I wonder if Nathan was being interfered with past couple of weeks? Whatever it was that caused that dip in effort and form, let's hope we kick on now... But we've seen all too many false dawns.
Thats a turnaround3 -
His games have to be numbered. If we lose to posh, then lose after that I think he has to go. That would be 2 wins in 12 games.
That is relegation form.0 -
If Jones does go, I look forward to a whole new Squad across the January / Summer Transfer Window
No doubt there will be complaints on here, asking why we couldn't get rid of the previous duds
With the next Manager either replaced before the end of this season (Because they're an Appleton level signing), or because "fans" struggle with the concept that to build a squad, more often than not... time is required.

Said before the Birmingham game we need to play more football. That game looked like it could have been the start of it, but no, Jones is sticking with the dull, grindy anti-football.
It’s reverse Ben Garner. Both styles are/were so extreme that it’ll take several windows and a lot of good signings to get the players to make it work. Is the money and patience there?
Why can’t we work towards something more balanced? The players can’t be enjoying the way we play, can they?Injuries aren’t helping but aren’t a good excuse. It’s not as if we’re missing a playmaker who runs games for us or our main striker who dominates up front. It would be a massive stretch to say TC is the difference, a player with no league goals and assists this season.9 -
Awful awful manager, We have seen way too much shit over the years but this geezer takes the biscuit. Imagine if any of us actually knew that we would still be playing this dire football that we all thought towards the end of last season was the necessary to keep us up. The blokes bounces around like a numpty whilst every Charlton fan is sitting there bored shitless with the negative disgusting football.
Whats he going to say to say hmmmm, we didnt do the basics, we wasnt front footed enough blah blah fucking blah, you brought in all these shit central midfielders your fucking fault. Someone please sack him now!!!4 -
Plus he pissed off our best player and top scorer last season…he has no clue11

Problem is, he has assembled a side if absolute garbage. So even if we did sack him, we're stuck with the shite he signed for the duration of the contracts.8
-
Add me to the list who want him gone.
He's clueless.
It's just absolute dross week after week. I thought Bristol Rovers was bad and we couldn't possibly play that bad again but we have today.
Now wait for his post-match interview. He'll be seething at how the players haven't carried out his instructions etc etc. Nothing to do with me gov, honest.

He’ll blame the injuries, but the fact is the absolutely shit playing style has been a constant regardless of who has been fit or not. The players he chose to sign this summer have almost all been disappointments. He chose a bench today that gave him almost no scope to change shape or style if plan A didn’t work.
I don’t want to sack managers just for the sake of it. I desperately want to see some stability at the club. But I need some serious convincing that this is the guy worth being patient with because right now all I see is more of the same and very little progress and not much sign of a plan to make it better.6 -
Cool cool, another change, 6 in 4 years, and all its done is wheel spin the club. We're about as clearer example that changing managers constantly does nothing. Next man comes in, fails to get to the play offs, and what, sack them too?1
-
If we sacked Jones then a new manager wouldn’t suddenly get a new tune of them imo. I do blame Jones for poor recruitment - Docherty, Ahadme, Potts, A Campbell all not good enough.1

We've got a top 6 budget but gone for a squad profile and style of play of a bottom 6 L1 club just trying to survive.
I’m not seeing a sustainable style for longer term, it’ll be easy to deal with for Championship clubs who are far more comfortable in possession. It’s all about out running and out battling the opposition, and we’re nothing special even at that.6 -
I’m not shouting for us to replace. Not like I was with Appleton.
But I cannot disguise just how disappointing this has been. Huge underperformance and absolutely dire to watch to go with it. Worst I can remember watching in my 35 yearsCurrent Last 8 games form is W1, D3 L4
Pathetic33 -

(Not that Jones has been well resourced, but he’s not been screwed over in the way Holden was)1

Let’s give him 3 more windows
then we can give the next loser 3 more windows and just keep making excuses for us being a shithouse nothing waste of time dull as fuck football club forever ad infinitum13 - Sponsored links:

But each time we've sacked the Manager, we've clearly had starting from the very beginning again
We might have a top whatever budget, but how does that transfer on to the pitch?
I'm fed up of hearing this attitude that people think that promotion can be won on paper - Maybe if you spend the levels of a Birmingham or Ipswich - But equally gives you no guarantee, especially when you take into account Ipswich's first season at this level - Unless I missed something that got agreed off pitch today, and thats why Exeter gave us 5mins to control the game each half, because they didnt seem to care about us having a top 6 budget.0 -

We’re no better and might’ve regressed from the team NJ finished last season with. What about anything NJ has done here tells you he can make it successful long term?
Not knowing how the next move will work out is not necessarily a good argument for not changing anything. You shouldn’t stay miserable in a loveless marriage just because you don’t know who you’re next partner could be.0 -
The last manager to complete a season's worth of games in charge, is Bowyer, and Jackson is next with 41, its a shambles, probably started when Jackson got sacked, but we've become a club high on the short term.
The football in the last 8 has been fantastically meh, even though we should have won against Barnsley and Stockport. But I just can't be doing with more change, it does nothing unless you're getting the next Keiron McKenna11 -

His fault he went for loads of ex Luton players rather than seeing who else was out there and available, that's what will cost us, plus jobs for mates like Danny Hylton sitting on the bench 🤦8 -
Ok, say Jones gets the sack, who comes in that is worthy of us eventually giving a manager time to build? What happens if he doesnt turn it around after 1 transfer window? Its all well and good demanding Jones gets sacked but I havent seen anyone suggesting who we bring in?1
-
I’m sure some of you get your kicks out of the team not performing so you can come on here wanting another manager gone. Some of you must be on your 12th wife12
-
You cant just keep going round sacking managers. Too get the players and squad in place it takes atleast 18months - 2years. Look at Bolton, Stockport and Wrexham as prime examples.
If he was that much of a miracle worker he wouldn't be with us.
We have key players missing. A fully fit squad would have been winning recent matches.

I think come round to the idea that he won’t go and we will carry on being shit. Makes life easier I suppose.0
