I am going to say it!! Yes I am, Nathan Jones......................

Hasn’t helped that Jones has been so chippy on the odd occasions where we’ve got a result or played ok.
Little digs and “I told you so” comments just serve to piss people off and make him look stupid when we slip back into an extended spell of dross

I was firmly in the give Jones time camp until Tuesday. That is the worst performance in my time supporting the club I think. We've been beaten worse but not by a side so shite. The little jabs at the fans really irritate me too.5

The snipey arsey comments when we win a game and then the subsequent disappearance of the spikey cnutishness when it all goes back to shit make him look a complete bell .
I love his enthusiasm but he’s just a dinosaur in football coaching terms .

More so than poor results, the team has zero philosophy on how they want to play. I truly believe he wants out now but wont walk away form the money. He makes illogical decisions I think in sometimes out of spite as he still see's himself as that innovative young coach who was heralded and its almost like he cant make changes as that would be conceding to the fans and he knows better.
Ok injuries but were they any worse than what holden had before we sacked him ? No and it was him who decided Ness wasnt good enough to be a squad player but somehow players like Potts who is (and we all knew) perennially injured. £1m on Ahadme is crazy and whilst i dont blame Jones fully for Alfie leaving (and feel most of the reason Alfie wanted to go for cash and family reasons) he made it easy for Alfie to want to leave.
Honestly get rid now and lets go back to Jacko (if he will take us) or even Chris Powell. Men of character and intelligence and no ego.
No point getting rid of Jones in February and then (for example) hiring a new manager who likes to play with wide players........and he finds out that we don't have any and he's fucked until the summer.1 -
He isn't threatening to leave the club any more if the fans think they can do better. Threatening to stay more like.1

Jones’s credibility as a coach is now hanging by a thread. Should he ultimately fail at Charlton, I’d struggle to see him getting a gig anywhere above league two and possibly not even that. He must be a worried man deep down but he’s too barking mad to change what he’s doing. I think he’ll start next season but I reckon we’ll be having this conversation in earnest this time next year.3

Months later we’ve not seen anything else from Docherty to suggest he could be that player.
It’s not needed but we could accept or ignore it if we were winning plenty of games.
It would also make more sense had we got to this stage of the season and Docherty was on track to score double figures by the end of the season.10 -

Yup this is what I expect to ultimately happen regardless of the SMT. Can't see another 2 defeats with bad performances and confusing team selections being tolerated.0 -

I think the owners will know only too well that they are failing.

Jones has lost the supporters without any doubt. We all know that a couple of wins will buy him time with the owners and some supporters. But the dire performances recently make that unlikely. Jones has been able to use injuries as a partial excuse( although they have not impacted the terrible midfield). He now has Lloyd Jones, Leaburn and Kanu back, so that excuse will not last much longer.
We could slip into the relegation zone within the next 2/3 games. If that happens Jones cannot survive Xmas.2 -
Hopefully they’ll act quickly and get rid asap. Remember, this is old hat for us so we’re very jaded but ‘reluctant’ about another change. But for them this is all new. I think they’ll act quickly seeing as we’re plunging down the table and the performances are dire. I hope so anyway otherwise we’re fucked.2

We're fucked anyway. There is no way of knowing what will happen with yet another new manager but I would bet it will be exactly the same and we will be here again next December. I think the club is on the way out and has been for quite some time now. Combined with the way football is going across the leagues the opportunity for a sudden boost from an unexpected direction seems to be a thing of the past.3

I think Jones loses the rest of the fanbase with a poor defeat on Saturday, but it will take a few more for the owners to act0 -

Regarding Jones immediate or in this case lack of immediate future I think there’s a lot more wishful thinking going on rather than considered views.5

Appleton kept blaming the injury list and saying when we had players back, we'd have a massive push - same as Jones is saying now. They came back and we were still rubbish and he was sacked. I'm sure NJ will be given the same courtesy.
Tbh if Jones thinks the current injury list is bad, he hasn't been following us in recent years3
