Another great win by Maidstone today. The winning team just rolling alone nicely and heading towards a record unbeaten record of 19 games
The plastic pitch is a real benefit in weather like today.

If VCD Athletic can beat Epsom & Ewell at home on Saturday, they will play the winners of Hartpury University/Fareham for a place in the FA Vase Quarter Finals.

Vested interest in this as my two close pals are joint managers there.

But unfair that they’ve got to win 2 games on the same day to progress

Proper game of 2 halves. Welling played really well 1st half and were 2 1 up. They were awful 2nd half, the keeper’s a fucking clown, could barely catch the ball. Ended up losing 3 2

We'll have him at Hendon. We currently don't have a goalie and has anyone got any centre-backs? We currently don't have any of those either.

No mate, gave that one a swerve after going last season. Stuck in the corner of the ground with minimal facilities and league two stewarding and pricing.
Got trains booked for Weston and Truro though.

Hope the ruby you went for afterwards left a better taste.
Nothing on the right side of the Welling team, as you say, calamitous goalkeeping and poor choice of substitutions.
Dont see any other result Saturday against Boreham Wood, they absolutely smashed Welling earlier this season 6-0

As the fanzine quotes “winning isn’t everything”, but it bloody helps.

Be a few Ebbsfleet players to help you out soon.

Going to Wingate & Finchley vs Dartford this afternoon, which is quite local to me and surprisingly my first Dartford game this season. A very different Dartford team this season.

Played away at New York Tech and their pitch was next to a massive lake. Goose shit everywhere. Got covered in it, it stunk and we lost 1-0.

A nice little ground although the main stand is a long way from the pitch

My second visit there, I've never bothered with the main stand!

Despite a ludicrous second yellow for their right back - a bizarre second yellow for time wasting - Dartford held on for another victory.

VCD Athletic through to the last 16 of the Vase. Erith & Belvedere and Whitstable Town are also through.

Froze my backside off, and get a lousy view. Hopefully we get promoted to the league and get a proper stadium! Hornchurch has a running track round it as well, but only four lanes, so it got roundly mocked at the reverse fixture this season which was quite amusing

The weird ‘terracing’ behind each goal is, well, weird (assuming it’s still there)

The best view of a game there is from the balcony of the fitness centre.
No smart arse jokes please DM.
