Sure but it can only be run by the people who volunteer to run it. If you don’t like it you have the option to change itshirty5 said:
Nothing wrong with the concept of a Supporters Trust. Every club should have one, but its how its run is importantfenaddick said:
Of course anyone who wants to change the trust could stand for election on the board, doesn’t seem to happen people just pile on. I haven’t been able to watch tonight and I’m sure the criticism is valid but if people want to change something they have the option toredbuttle said:
Brilliant. They should be running the supporters Trust as well.blackpool72 said:

Question about the use of the away shirts and colour clash issues. Methven says next season unlikely to be the case from next season, but can't go into details as yet.

Nothing better than at the end of difficult and trying day at work in meetings listening to senior management bumbling on about things like 'Key perfomance indicators', 'blue sky thinking', 'High level learnings' & 'Holistic leverage' I like nothing better than getting home, plonking myself on the sofa and listening to the owners of the football club I love, talking about ' Key performance indicators', 'Blue sky thinking', 'High level learnings' & 'Holistic leverage'.;-(24

Completely agree. I just think it’s interesting that anytime they do something it gets criticised but as far as I’m aware those criticising don’t stand to join the board. That might be because they don’t have time which is totally fine but important to remember it’s easy to criticise and far harder to enact changeshirty5 said:

GC coming across quite nervous but I guess he is new to this style of exposure.CM very slick with any question even if it is waffle.Sadly you can see why he gets the gig he does.1

Woah, the top women's teams in the WSL are spending Championship levels on their wages.

it doesn't take a lot of research to establish what the supporters think is important, and I dont think a new sign is top of the agenda.fenaddick said:Hal1x said:

Join at the start then 👍🏻. That was about 5 questions from the end. They also made it clear they weren’t taking questions from the commentsElthamaddick said:Turned on and the first question was….will we run coaches to women’s away games

I thought the most illuminating piece was GC saying that lease extension conversations with the freeholder are ongoing. It is the first time the SMT have been specific that it is lease extension, not purchase of F/H that is on the table.
It was always obvious this was their route but they have always tried to obfuscate it in the past.12 -

Why are they forking out for solar panels on the roof of an asset they don't own??

I really don’t want to criticise but I’ve honestly got nothing out of this.
The questions from the Zoom reps were far too long winded and gave us nothing of interest (banner news - jeez).
Why didn’t someone test out the microphone levels from Sparrows Lane? Someone should also have tested the zoom reps out and told them to turn off background noise etc.
No one questioned the answers. Nathan was asked are we looking at adding more pace to the squad like TC and Small. The answer was about how well TC and Small have played without actually answering the question.
The answer about the floodlights was basically that they were aware of it and it could be caused by a number of issues. That’s not an answer.
Such a wasted opportunity.
Also, is there a more unlikeable character than Rodwell? There’s something I really don’t like about him.
I really want to be more positive but I feel really let down by the questions that were presented to them.13 -
-
The best questions were the direct ones from the supporters. It would have been better if more time was spent on these questions, and less from the ones from the Supporters Trust and Fans Representative, which were far too vague.YannTheMann said:Didn't think that was bad to be fair, a lot of what they said made sense to me and seemed reasonable3 -
What a steaming pile of shit that was. Felt as bad as going to a dirty northern away game and losing 2-0 without having a shot on target for the whole game.8
-
Charlotte "can you let us know what turnstile is not working", well two things, surely they should already know, and if they really don't it would take one bloke with a season ticket card half an hour walking around the ground to find out.7
-
Got bored 15 minutes in so bailed, but my takeaway was Rodwell basically saying there probably won't be any incomings this window, then saying Scott weren't about because he's "putting miles on his car extrememly busy watching players halfway through a transfer window"5
-
Rodwell referenced two 'cordial' meetings. One just before Christmas, and another coming up soon.Athletico Charlton said:I thought the most illuminating piece was GC saying that lease extension conversations with the freeholder are ongoing. It’s becoming increasingly clear to me that our number one missive is to develop young players to then sell them27

Think we all knew how much of a waste of time the Zoom questions were going to be. Not sure why a question was asked about the new badge on the Covered End but there we go. Some interesting stuff in there (mainly highlighting how poor Sandgaard was) and I can’t say I disagreed with a lot thereCan we please make that the last time we mention Alfie May0
