"Despite the challenges that relegation will bring, our goal is to restore a sense of pride for them in their team and club once again."
The challenge will be not doing a Luton while on a significant parachute payment to strengthen the team that won promotion to the Prem, previously. And the challenge of actually being able to compete.
They've been unbelievably poor this season, 2 wins and 4 draws in 31 games
It started with Russell Martin & his "there is no plan B". I lost count of the number of goals they let in by trying to pass it out from the back, starting with the goal keeper. Time after time a defender would give the ball away or would get it taken off them & the opposition striker really only had the keeper to beat.
Was talking to people on Saturday, on the walk, and they said the only reason Nathan never succeded there was that he wasn't given adequate time/resources.
Wonder if this is a similar situation, or they just hired the wrong guy for their relegation fight.

Madness.
saw him on sky sports the other week and they were talking about his style/philosophy and he admitted he shouldn't have been so rigid, but they also went through a couple of the goals and he was saying that some of them were just bad mistakes and not fault of the system, such as one of them he said, we went through 3 times about how not to play a certain ball and the player went ahead and did it, lost possession and gave the goal up.
I hate how managers who bring a team up and then don't succeed get written off

I’m sure Russell’s other half is comforting him and making him forget all about football!

They were very entertaining, but let in a lot of goals in the Championship last season, as even against poorer attackers, they were still incapable of playing his style of football without making mistakes at the back.
They conceded 63 goals last season, so hardly a surprise they've been awful at the back this season.
Bring linked with Rohl, and I guess Wednesday could probably do with the compensation and a wage off the books.
If he goes, wonder If SCP goes with him?
Powell is very well thought of by the Wednesday fans and he likes it up there, however, he has a good relationship with Rohl and Southampton is nearer home so I'd think he'd leave as well.
As well as the fact they are both aware that Chasniri is a bad egg.
could be a good appt .. MK have nosedived after being pretty much humiliated in last years playoffs .. their great stadium needs to house a much better team

Including interims they'll now be on their 7th manager since November 2022.
