The challenge will be not doing a Luton while on a significant parachute payment to strengthen the team that won promotion to the Prem, previously. And the challenge of actually being able to compete.

They've been unbelievably poor this season, 2 wins and 4 draws in 31 games0

It started with Russell Martin & his "there is no plan B". I lost count of the number of goals they let in by trying to pass it out from the back, starting with the goal keeper. Time after time a defender would give the ball away or would get it taken off them & the opposition striker really only had the keeper to beat.
Madness.3 -

Was talking to people on Saturday, on the walk, and they said the only reason Nathan never succeded there was that he wasn't given adequate time/resources.
Wonder if this is a similar situation, or they just hired the wrong guy for their relegation fight.0 -

I hate how managers who bring a team up and then don't succeed get written off

They conceded 63 goals last season, so hardly a surprise they've been awful at the back this season.0 -

If he goes, wonder If SCP goes with him?Powell is very well thought of by the Wednesday fans and he likes it up there, however, he has a good relationship with Rohl and Southampton is nearer home so I'd think he'd leave as well.As well as the fact they are both aware that Chasniri is a bad egg.0 - Sponsored links:

Cardiff have sacked Omer Riza with Aaron Ramsey taking over for the last 3 games. Chris Gunter will be one of his assistants

Not a surprise, with the results on the pitch and Riza's comments about the fans being clueless. With 3 games to go, they need a short term boost.3

Nathan Jones for Cardiff must be on a loop ?
Charlton and Nathan are focused on the next possible 6 games.
Next season we don't know which Leagues, Cardiff or Charlton will be in.
Just like Charlton fans need to realize we play 3 more league games; then if 3rd, 4th or 5th we have two semi final matches and only then a possible Wembley date.
Lots of if and buts and none of them concern Nathan Jones leaving; lots of discussions at the end of the season depending on CAFC status and what is the ambition of our American owners ?
