RM was doing the match threads when I first joined Charlton Life and they were an invaluable way of following games in those dark Roland days. Thoughts and best wishes to RM, his family and friends.
Like many, I never met RedMidland but read many of his posts. Generous courageous man, letting us all into his world. Many of us will find ourselves at that very same spot sometime. Tough painful place. Respect and love.
Like most on here, I don't personally know Red, but it through the years on this forum, he's been a constant and his love for all things Charlton has always been at the forefront.
awful news I've been following your battle on the other thread and sent a birthday card, i hope you stay strong and whatever happens know you'll always be a Charlton fan and were a collective like no other. stay strong pal. p.s were back in the championship
“he was a lot brighter today. they have booked a chemo session which has boosted him a bit. I think he is going to spend some time in a loras hospice to get his pain management sorted. so I'll let you know matey x“

Our hearts go out to Malc & his loved ones with the hope that he's not in pain and receiving all the support possible at this very difficult time.
Sending all our best love & if the CL family can do ANYTHING to help, please let us know. xx

Sorry that you're having to go through all this @Redmidland. Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.
Wally will be moved to a hospice this coming Friday where it’s hoped it will be able to manage his pain a lot easier.
If so, I can sort this but needed to check if this is the idea.
If so, cards will come to you directly ? And will it be a kind of " Thinking of you" type sentiments, please ?
We're out at a Quiz tonight but will get it started tomorrow.
If anyone reads this & wants to send a card, please pm me & I'll make sure you're on the list.
Otherwise I'll use the list of Lifers I used before.
Any probs, drop me a line.
You live very close to my school bestie Ray ♥️
after speaking to Angie this morning, Wally was moved this morning to the hospice.
