Got myself boxing day tickets for the MCG & day 3 at the SCG currently. Really hoping the series is still alive by tests 4 & 5!

No reason to fear them, I think our poor record over there is a mental block as much as anything. Hopefully a comprehensive series win vs India will maximise the confidence.

A bit late to the party but well done England.Great win especially after being behind for the whole test.Duckett great both innings What a class player he is turning out to be.Special praise to Zak who batted beaurifully.Probably one of his best batting performances.
Well done to the bowlers for not giving up especially Tongue.Great performance by him.I thought Carse bowled well too and i think they both will play next week.If Gus Atkinson is fit id start him over Woakes

Il be honest i was one of the ones screaming 'why didnt we bat 1st?' But what do i know lol.Thats why i love test cricket anything can happen.Looking forward to the rest of the series and the Ashes( il be in Brisbane for the 2nd test) when hopefully we will regain the Ashes..BARMY ARMY🏏

Mainly because he sorted out his technique by showing the full face of the bat and not playing across his pads the whole time and also decided to dump the notion that he needs to go out and smash a quick 50 each and every time he bats.

Going up to Edgbaston for day 4 of the next test. England winning the game after 5:30pm would be nice.

If anyone wants to prolong the cricketing joy of yesterdays victory I recommend casting your eye over the scorecard of the WI v Aus game

Hahaahahahahahaahahahahahahah ahahahaha , Shemar Joseph and Jayden Seales are top top talents but they shouldn't run through the Aussie's like that.

Their batting lineup looks more panicked than India's!

The only one I'll draw the line of being completely awful to listen to is KP. Thinks he's the greatest to ever play the game.
    KP thinks that way too.

Steve would rather we batted out the last day for a draw not even going for the win. Arrogance to back themselves to chase is it?

Watched basically all of his spell for Sussex , feels a game early. Would have liked him to get another CC game under his belt and then look at the third test

Yeah Sussex have another game starting Sunday so he could've easily played in that one. Maybe with a view to come in for tests 4/5

Agreed. Another game. Maybe a week's rest then in for the 3rd test.

Tho maybe they are trying to show him they are keeping faith in him and build confidence. 18 overs is not many at all. Especially with the number we are likely to have to bowl and the fragility of stokes.

Maybe just in the squad but released back to Sussex for the next one?

The 3rd ump decision to give Chase out was even worse. Genuinely scandalous

It's ok to lose from time to time. Even the very best teams do that. But for the England women's team to suffer such a humiliating, 97-run thrashing at home is appalling.

But much, much worse than that is the dreadful attitude. Awful fielding, brainless batting, absent captaincy. And, no-one looking like they either care or even want to be there.

They want the money and security of central contracts, but not the professionalism that comes with them.

Saw a bit of it and I wouldn't say they are much of a team.
