Amazed how much this has triggered people. The best part is I wasn't even on a wind up, just pointing out that it would be nicer to see a bit more excitement after an amazing season.
More replies incoming but it won't change the fact we are looking like we have struggled to sell out our first Championship away day after people losing their minds on the Wembley tickets thread.
Also, cause you're evidently a bit of a plonker, I'll go a bit more in depth. A 9 year old that has parents or family are very different to a Charlton fan who has no relatives that support Charlton and no one willing to take them to a game, I would firmly fall into the category of 'wants to go but can't' which of whom none of my post is aimed at for those circumstances. Tit.

You seem to be obsessed with what other clubs are doing, my advice would be to make those ticket sales 7,034 so you can enjoy an away day with proper fans instead of us!Braziliance said:

I like the mental gymnastics on this thread! Oohaahmortimer and Braziliance and spot on and perhaps related?! If we had Liverpool away mid week at £40 a ticket in the middle of August, tickets would fly off the shelfs.
Have to say, our away support has gone from embarrassing to respectable. 2.5k to Bristol is still very good IMO.

2.5k to Bristol City is superb for us in my opinion. No point comparing us to Birmingham, same way as you wouldn't compare our away support to Leeds'.

Our average numbers will definitely be helped by having Leicester/Southampton/Ipswich in the division instead of Sunderland/Leeds/Burnley.1

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the original 2,503 figure was our initial allocation — the central three blocks in the Atyeo Stand. Since then, Bristol City have quietly opened up the shoulder blocks (N36 & N40) and both end blocks (N35 & N41) as demand has grown. The blocks were just opened up gradually by Charlton not because we received any extra tickets.
The front rows are netted off in the away end, looking at the map when selecting tickets it seems that the first row you can select from is row 12. There looks to be around 37 seats in a row in each block, there are 7 blocks so you're comfortably looking at 2k seats netted off .3 -

It’s a good number considering time of year and number of away games to come. Realistically we are not going to win the league or go for promotion and hopefully not in the relegation places so high away attendances may not be the case this year - outside of Pomey, Millwall, QPR …Chris_from_Sidcup said:

My 3 arrived in the post a couple days ago. Today 3 more arrived. Different seats and 1 adult 2 u12s. Called the ticket office. Turns out they've been sent to me by mistake. Told to rip them up and they'll get new ones to the right owner....
