  • Did Bree justify dropping apter? Didn’t see a stream.
Possibly a better option for us when we're on the road I'd say, the conditions probably wouldnt have played into Apter's hands too well either, who didnt have the best of performances against Millwall last week.

Our tactics and play are not pretty and I didn’t like the fact that Apter didn’t start but we got the result so who am i to complain. ?
How poor were Sheffield United though . Wilder has a tough job on his hands there .
  • Anyone want to break it to Kayne that that's not Tanto....

  • In the build up to this game plenty were wary of a "new manager bounce" with United sacking their manager and Wilder taking over.

"Oh, we're going to get tonked!"

This is Wilder's third spell in charge. How much of a "bounce" do you think there'd be?

If you had a tennis ball and dropped it from shoulder height each successive bounce gets lower and lower.

Today's bounce for Wilder barely got off the ground.

    Tough.

    In Nathan we trust.
  • I know he's not always popular on here but I thought Gary Docherty had an absolute barnstormer of a game today.

I still think he's one of those players who looks better in the Championship than he does in League One. He suits the battle like what we saw today, whereas in League One, teams would sit back more.

Massive result that - like many I didn’t see that coming

only saw the 2nd half, but we kept going. Great goal as well

Doc was superb in the middle from what I saw

Isn't that possibly the best away end in the country to score a late winner?
(Objectively speaking and not counting any London derby away games)

Didnt go or watch it. My son did (watch) and said Bree was his MOTM.

I can now understand why its good to score late on. Imagine scoring after 60 mins & then have the game abandoned like Blackburn did 😂😂😂😂😂.

  • This made me laugh so hard 🤣 👏

Yes, looks solid defensively and can cross really well. In most away games he should play RWB, Apter maybe at home.

  • Feared the worst today but that's a great result. Nathan Jones masterclass performance.

Scenes in the away end when the goal went in looked quality.
  • Well I wasn’t expecting that! Well done boys, we put The Blades to The Sword.
  • Watched on stream.

Great defensive display, restricted them to scraps.

Doc was great today, he was everywhere.

Bell scares me at times as he’s so relaxed, but he’s really turning into one of my favourite players.

Burke and Bree were the right selections for the away game.

Well done Tanto, two nice headers from Leaburn and Knibbs in the build up.

Great to have a strong bench.

This season is about survival, doubt it will ever be pretty, but I don't care as long as we get results.

    What is the joke?
  • Not the prettiest of wins but who cares.  Bree seemed to struggle until he had one moment of class at the end.  Burke/Bell/Jones all solid.  It will be interesting to see if Apter and Ramsey have lost their starting positions going forward.

How is it Doc struggled at times last year but has been excellent this year at a higher level.

TC is an enigma as per usual.  He absolutely scared Godfrey but we never seem to score on any of his one on one attacks

tanto almost missed an open goal but it went in and he was in a good position to score

I have already apologised for my negativity. Great result and Docherty has also proved me wrong
