He had a defender shutting him down and half a second to make god contact and put it in. Not sure flicking it top corner was on his mindswords_alive said:
He's well capable of missing late chances. Ask Stockport fans. Glad he kept his head today. Still can't believe it.TheHerminator said:

Yea that got on my wick too. We’re not ten games in to the season and they’re bottom but we’re struggling!sirjohnhumphrey said:The presenter on Soccer Saturday was really annoying. Every time he went to the game it was: ‘Chris Wilder in his third stint with the club up against struggling Charlton.’
Surely Sheffield United are struggling more than us?Struggling Charlton, a point and three places above struggling Norwich.9 -

You can take the lad out of Scotland...19 -
A nice way if saying that Sheff Utd didn't do anything during the match & its now up to Wilder to get them going.fenaddick said:
Not sure what Naz has been smoking but I'd love to try it
Along the lines of if you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all.2 -
Im not joking. Can't I be happy it went in but say it wasnt a good finish?TheHerminator said:

On the 6. O’clock special. Again the game was not quality but Sheffield could have played al night and still not have scored.Clean sheet away win, fantastic away support.Hopefully by Christmas we could be looking up not looking over our shoulder2

To be fair, the Goalkeeper is diving, and he's stuck it right between his legs, nothing he could do about that, and Cooper had already made two excellent saves. - If Tanto puts it to the left, the Goalkeeper possibly dives to save it as he's going in that directionbalham red said:

I saw my first ever Charlton goal in a Northern away match there in 1984. A late Mile Flanagan equaliser in a 1 1 draw.swords_alive said:Isn't that possibly the best away end in the country to score a late winner?
(Objectively speaking and not counting any London derby away games)1 -

A win would have been impressive regardless but to get it when Sheffield Utd were revved up with the return of Wider was absolutely brilliant. I was surprised reading the negativity of a lot of people saying we would get a 3-0 tonking as every Jones team is set up to be competitive. Forget QPR. That was a blip. We will stay up comfortably in my humble opinion.3

Tanto looks surprised he scored. Did he think he was offside.......or that we finally played a ball to feet inside the box 😂😂😂😂fenaddick said:A longer clip of the goal, taken from someones telly so less good but shows the smart work of Bree

I agree. Knibbs looked as though he linked things up. I think he could make a big difference when he’s up and running.Weegie Addick said:Knibbs made a big difference too. Excellent result - we battered them in the last 10 when I thought we’d decided to sit tight for a point!5 -
Watching the goal again, love the way Doc comes sprinting in from about 15 yards away to be the first to congratulate Tanto.golfaddick said:

The jury is out for me on Bell atm. So many times he looks like he's going to lose the ball because he's so slow/laconic/fancy dan. It seems like sometimes he's deliberately playing himself into trouble just to showboat his skills at getting out of it. And yet, so rarely does he lose the ball. He's nearly always got the better of his man. I hope he's that good and that he's just messing about with them, but he does still make me nervous at times.stoneroses19 said:
Out of interest, who else is up for it?Talal said:Poll on X for man of the match which Bree is currently winning. Without the assist, which was very good, I wasn't overly impressed.I thought Bell was clearly MOTM today.21 -

Harder to save then they are straight at you. If he had put it either side the keeper could have stuck out an arm or a leg and stooped it.balham red said:

im saying the finish was all he could really do in that situation and with that little time. To say it was poor is wrong in my opinion8 -
Good finish. He put it back across the gk dive to the right. Ideally it would have been in the opposite corner but he had to avoid the defenderForeverAddickted said:

Great first touch from Bree to trap the long ball to him and turn the defender in the lead up to the goal.9

Surely Sheffield United are struggling more than us?If Leicester and Millwall go the other way we could quite easily be second!I’m fully aware that’s “if my nan had balls” because both of our wins have come very late, but it’s still not untrue.Other than the first half an hour or so of QPR I think we’ve absolutely held our own.I watched the game with a friend today. The last game I watched with him? Crawley at home!He was lost for words with the difference.26
